The limited time label is a wonderful thing, especially when you twist it by saying infinite time minus a day is still limited because it isn't forever
And yet, 2007 has raised the bar in terms of UI, features and intuitiveness that everybody else will be playing catch-up for years to come.
If 2007 has raised the bar then the bar is set so low I'd have to limbo dance to get under it.
The new UI is the least intuitive I've seen in a long time, 97-2003 might not have been brilliant but at least people know where everything is after 6 and more years of training on it and using it.
The BBC isn't actually a business, it's a state funded public service broadcaster. Every UK TV set requires a licence fee to be paid for it which is used to fund the BBC.
Perhaps one should do some research before shooting oneself in the foot ?
Interesting someone should mention that, there's a site that explains why bank charges in the UK are most likely illegal penalty charges and classed as unfair contract terms
I clicked on the Admin link at the bottom of their page, it asked me if I wanted to log onto Zope.
Can a law firm claim copyright on code that is already copyright, or indeed, can anyone ?
These guys use it groupwide http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lvmh and I fully agree, it sucks big time, even the Mac version
Because there's nobody paying them to install all the crapware on Linux
Funnily enough, if you look, http://www.evansdata.com/company/clients.php, guess who one of their clients is ?
So, on the basis of 2 words in a translation request, there is a whole new version of Gmail coming out ?
How the hell did this get to be news ?
On the downside, I have yet to figure out how to summon force lightning while fencing.

It might just about be powerful enough to run Vista though....

Pile of stuff down at gentoo.org due to a possible command injection vulnerability in their webapp. This doesn't seem to have made any waves.
If there's a survey on this, I'd just like to say that I'm in the UK and I DO NOT want DRM
Asus you might have some luck with, it's ACER that you're SOL with

You forgot commercial espionage, that's one of my favourite uses for my Blackberry Pearl ;-)
This isn't fraud, this is standard operating procedure.
Just because everybody does it doesn't mean it isn't fraud.

Technically you can't actually click to see the terms without agreeing to them.
No contract there according to my understanding of contract law here in the UK
Personally, I'm surprised they let him stay there for a week without supervising him clearing his desk and escorting him off the premises

Apple don't sell it to run on whitebox
But my iBook G4 is white, doesn't that count as a whitebox ?
Shouldn't they have previously announced that they would make an announcement of impending announcement?
I have a sore head now, please stop that.

I'm sure UK readers will really enjoy reading the site and sending off those letters to their banks.
