If I remember rightly, the last time she wanted to listen to Queen she invited them round and got the guitarist guy to stand on the roof of Buckingham Palace and play God save the Queen.
Why should I buy a console to play games on when I have this PC here on my desk that, while I do work on it, also happens to play any game I care to throw at it ?
If the only reason is that companies are going to stop making games for me then it's a pretty poor one.
Last time I tried one of the Betas for this on my AMD64 box I couldn't get network live as there were no drivers for either my Yukon Marvell onboard NIC or my Netgear wg311v2 wireless card.
Has this changed or are we going to have an OS that is largely useless due to lack of drivers for common hardware ?
Actually, most ISPs in the UK are currently switching over to a volume based charging structure rather than a speed based one.
This is due to the way that British Telecom the former state owned monopoly has changed their wholesale pricing structure. Vast majority of ISPs in this country are just resellers of ADSL products from BT anyway so have no choice in the matter.
My point is where he specifically says he isn't recommending Dropline because of all the extras it installs and that he recommends two other gnomes for Slackware ahead of Dropline.
And yes, I have used Dropline a few times, each time it did something to my system I didn't want and I removed it again.
If you're a European company you have to play by European rules.
Personally for all I care you can take your buggy software and go back to you isolationist "nothing exists outside America" policy. I'm sure you and all the other redknecks will be very happy together.

Stylish or what ?
And the worst thing about it is that half of the voters are stupider than that.
Can't remember which distro it was but I'm sure there was one where you could play Pacman while it installed.
Odd, I always thought that .org meant worldwide non-profit not American only.

Yes, but this misses the point that I can just put in register_globals=ON if I want to.
My choice to do that which isn't available on legacy ASP
Just in case you didn't know, the ship sinks in Titanic and they get back OK in Apollo 13 ;-)
It wasn't Churchill, it was Chamberlain.
Churchill was the one who was happy to fight them on the beaches and wherever else they wanted to fight.
Lewis wrote space sci-fi as well, try reading Out of the Silent Planet and the rest of that trilogy.
Doesn't that make him a nerdy author ?
Sounds like a great idea for a tv ser........
Um, never mind
It's the "first part"
Does that sound to you like they will be adding the rest as well once people have gotten used to the "first part" ?
Just what the world needs, more fucking lawyers.

Does that mean I'll be able to fry two eggs at once ?

My apologies for the name calling then, you have obviously done your research and chosen a solution that fits your needs.
If you wanted to integrate LDAP did you not consider http://www.padl.com/OSS/nss_ldap.html instead of whining about not being able to use PAM ?
You did read the bit of the Changelog where he said he WASN'T supporting Dropline as the Slackware gnome didn't you ?
I thought it was just old farts like me who saw it on its first run in cinema and could never remember seeing the episode IV bit.
Thank $DEITY someone else is the same.
It wasn't me, an old woman did it and ran away
"Should take about 30 second, oh or Balmers head may explode. ;)"

That sounds familiar for some reason.....
He'll probably cut out the last few chapters and skip the last battle.
Worked for Lord of the Rings so why the hell not ?
