    They where not kidding about the specific quality settings. I tried it with the demo image and and The Gimp to reveal the message. I was only able to have it appear only remotely recognizable at 3 of the 101 quality setting

    Asking by e-mail several questions consistently ignored my request for the sourcecode until all other questions where resolved then I got completely ignored.

    Grouping layers in to folders is one; Layer effects is the other one I miss. Having an complete document as a folder (like ps smart objects) would be nice as well.

    I like non-destructive editing and those things come in handy, of course they can be worked around.

    I've never needed to do this and still got more battery life out of recent Linux distro's (Fedora) on each and every laptop/netbook I used. I currently have an Dell 9400 and an MSI Wind, both get more battery life on Fedora then they did with XP

    Stock meaning the pre-installed loaded with all the right oem drivers for the specific oem hardware windows.

    What feature do you want in StarOffice or WordPerfect suite that isn't there?

    Dunno about Star but the only thing WP laks is a "track changes" feature a la ms word.

    OTOH i think wp needs (for it to succeed in ms strongholds i.e. the windows platform) to be able to read/write ms word .doc files. I know it does some but lets be frank it need to be alot better at it.

    If you want to create and have the IP for yourself have your employer explicitly agree to this.
