I took several certification tests on BrainBench.com. I noticed that many, many of the top 100 scorers on each test had Indian sounding names. Do BrainBench and similar certs mean anything in India?
There's always a rebate or something available for a phone almost all the time. I have never paid for a cell phone, and I'm on my 4th one. And the phones that come out to be free after rebate are usually the plain jane type I like.
Based on all the hype about the national Do Not Call registry, I would have expected to see that up there somewhere. Then again, it probably consists of like one table and 3 fields. It certainly would qualify as a very popular database.
I was curious how long it would take to get to mars and back. Here's the answer:
"A mission to Mars would take about three years from launch to reentry, including 6-12 months of travel each way and a lengthy stay on Mars while the planets reach optimum position for beginning a return flight. (NASA)"
For my senior project in school I modified an IM client written in VB6 to have AI capabilities. It can act as a desktop secretary who gets to know new people that IM you when you're away. It takes notes, keeps contact info on file, and can define words. Check it out here.
Yeah they are trying to expand their business and get away from just selling desktops. You can get gateway printers, digital cameras, etc. I wonder how many of these products are really made by someone else with the name "Gateway" stamped on them.
When I said "real" router, I meant something more along the lines of a "real man's router" -- something that takes a little more knowledge of than a boxed one you plug in and that's it.
...that Karma "does not cure cancer or grant you a seat on the secret spaceship that will be traveling to Mars when the Krulls return to destroy the planet in 2012."
But will Karma get me on the next spaceship to the moon???
I dare ya!
10.x.x.x is reserved for internal use. Anyone can set up a 10.x.x.x subnet.
as with most everything else, it won't work nearly as well as you or I can imagine :-/
They were only sitting on it for the time they *knew* about it! Doesn't matter when NT came out if they only discovered it 6 months ago........
I think the ones in CompUSA are a tad sensitive to the extreme temps on Mars.....

An amount proportional to their cost of living. Certainly less than 60k, but 60k means something different in their country.

Wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?
HAHAHA! If i had mod points right now, you'd get one.
Move over, Scorched Earth, time for Scorched Mars!
It seems to me that at this size of over 5 feet, maybe a nice projector would be better.
At least it wasn't TI-89 XP
This will make war driving less fun...
most people don't NEED a home computer at all, much less a DVD burner...

"Gateway recommends Microsoft(R) Windows(R) XP" right at the top of the screen.

"I probably just put a decimal point in the wrong spot. I always forget some mundane detail..." lol

Take an old Pentium I and put Smoothwall on it. No more Belkin and Netgear routers you get for $50 at Circuty City.
