    It takes 5 color pens and 2min to put together a good transparency on any topic, but 1hr to work out which way you want the text to animate in using PP.

    Half the PP stuff I've seen was in design mode, cuz the presenter couldn't get the notebook/projector to work together in fullscreen mode.

    Ppl love making their text scroll left, then right, then fizzly fuzzly. Then after the 3rd page, they get bored with it and skip all the animation on the rest of the 50pg thing.

    Too bad neat handwriting is no longer acceptable in the business world. If they knew how many hours of fiddling they'd save = saved wages.

    Why would attacks on the coalition troops stop? I don't think the attackers knew before the status of Saddam, and his capture wouldn't reduce hatred of the US.

    I agree this brings some closure, but I don't see reason for magical 'US can pull out' now.

    What would be interesting is if Saddam died in US custody before trial...
    I guess it depends if the US puts him in a cage in the middle of the desert like the others...

    When a product changes from a name (Palladium - nice sounding eh) to an acronym with no vowels (NGSCB - can't pronounce it = can't remember it), it shows MS don't want it discussed.

    It's no longer a 'feature' to hype, it's now a spec point to hide from customers.

    The search isn't something the trademark owner paid to provide, so what's wrong with having ads?

    fifteen years ago when I was young, game consoles cost about $100.00 and games $20.00 . People bought them.

    why the hell do they now cost several hundred dollars and each game over $50.00? Nowadays the game's don't last as long, Story line games cannot support more than one player at the time, no wonder people don't want to spend money anymore.

    if I'm downloading a movie to watch, I'm going to watch it straightaway
    if I want to watch the movie again later, then the earliest would be the next night, which is just outside the freaking 24 hour limit so what the fuck is the point?

    if you didn't read the contract which tells you whether the domain name is yours or just rented, then just learn and move on

    when you do things for the first time , learn to ask the important questions and don't assume.

    before you leave the old host, put a message on them forwarding users to the new domain name, and a copy of your account on what is happening. the old host is only going to hold on to the domain for as long as it seems useful

    I don't know why a people suggest JavaScript tricks to hide their addresses.

    In the end , the browser renders it as text which can be selected and copied. what makes you think that mail harvesters will not render the webpage as well before searching for addresses?

    Firstly, stop buying things from spam!

    My friend once commented on how all he hated getting so much spam the everyday. I myself get maybe one or two pieces a week, so I started to show him the basics of filtering out some of the crap.

    So what do you think he says? He doesn't want all his spam automatically deleted he said, because sometimes something interesting comes! He even likes to follow the links two visit the sites.

    Fuck I wanted to smack him right in there and then. Actually I'm in a bad mood right now I want to go back and find him and smack him anyway.

    Seemed like each write required multiple access to a single area.

    You might hate it as a caller, but as a person being called, it's important to keep the same no. esp for small businesses. Just how often would you call a cell if u could call a land line instead anyway? "what network are you on" is easy to do with friends anyway. Who else would you call all the time?

    As you use moz for a while and realize some simple bugs are 3yrs old with half a thousand dupes, you kinda get pissed off and say such on your comment.

    Instead of fixing the problem, they want to fix the symptom by telling us how many hoops we should jump thru to report THEIR bug.

    Yeh, so it's free. Other programs are free, and they fix their bugs quickly as a matter of pride. So it's no excuse for moz ppl not to do the same, esp when a bunch of them are paid full-timers.

    10yrs ago, there was an article about how the battery makers and laptop ppl were coming together to define a battery standard. Laptops from the next year on would use these sizes. Instead of worrying how long your internal would last, or buying a spare rechargable you only use twice a year, you'd just buy a disposable like you buy AA batteries.

    This was going to happen. They had just about finished the standard. 10yrs ago. Has anyone seen any?

    Call the company and tell them you want to DL the rom, and want to pay the author the $2 they woulda gotten in royalties. You didn't cost the co. any production/distrib/advertising fees, so maybe offer them $2 for a written letter giving you the license for it.
