But they tend to lose Secret documents at hockey games, and their idea of tourture is feeding people poutine until they risk cardiac arrest before rushing them to the hospital for free health care, feeling sorry and giving people Citizenship for any hardship they faced, then calling it a day and going to drink beer and watch hockey.
Oblivion is the first time I have played a TES game.
Being someone who loves FPS (hardcore UT and Battlefield player), it takes some thing special for me to play something that doesn't have quad damage and a rocket launcher. I can count the number for non FPSers I own in two hands. A need for speed game that I bought when I got my first car (which I played breifly and haven't touched since) and Oblivion. Having put 30 hours into one character, mostly in 6 hour spurts after work, I am hooked.
Who would have though bows and arrows were as cool as rocket launchers?
"Sports are rarely in balance, if ever. One player has more stamina. Or more strength. Or he can run faster. Sports is not only a game of tactics and strategy, it's also a matter of your physical condition. That part has been eliminated in computer games."
Games dont have perfect balance either. EG, FPS: 1v1 DM...
both players start with same health and weapons (offence), but quickly the balance shifts, as players gather and lose health, armor and weapons. Soon 1 player may have more strength (weapons) or health, and the other player must exploit their oppenents weaknesses and play on their strengths just as any sports player.
I ask for this from Game Publishers:
1) Choice: Let me pick to payless and see ads, or pay more and not see them (bonus, make fake ads that are cool). Better yet for cheapo's let me fill out a survey and give me less but better ads for me (or less money).
2) Disclosure: Tell me your going to put ads in your game, and what they are, and will not be.
Well $600M less legal fees, still provides considerable ammount of coin for NTP to live the rich life, and buy some more patents, to sit on, until their coiffers run dry again.
In any sense, the laywers one this one..
Solution is simple. Tell the Feds botnets are being used by terrorists.
Once they get the idea that these bot nets are being used to distribute terrorist information, crack military encryption for the terrorists and target American soldiers, and fund terrorists, Homeland security will be busting down doors.
Or they will create the "Patriotic Computer Act" which forces all computers to run Federally approved anti-terrorist software, you know, the stuff to keep these evil botnets from occuring on your computer and analyzing and reporting anything suspicious on your computer.
I heard of this new power system. Seems like a mix of AC and DC, to create the ultimate power form.
AC *lightningbolt* DC was the name, and with a lightning bolt in the name, it has to strike you like thunder.
Wait, so being dedicated to something is not a good thing anymore?
Natural Skill vs. Hard Work and Dedication.
I wish I naturally had great skills to start with, but alas I have to work hard at certain things until I am skilled at them.
Our camera Orwellian overlords. After I bore my watchers by eating doritos and playing Quake 4 all night long, day in and day out, I shall then resume plotting against the government, in my mothers basement.
You pay say $15 per month to play a game. Lets say you _only_ play for 5 hours. Was the $15 that month a waste? Or was it simply not used to its full potential?
Compare it to say, renting a movie (or watching one in theaters), its still quite affordable.
Stop quibbling about small sums, suck it up, and frag on.
Consumers benifit. Theaters do not.
Screw the theater, I want my movies straight to DVD.

Its in reference to video games. Video game RPGs specificically. For that Genre TES did break the mold.
Will Ion Storm be opening its doors again?
Yes.
Didn't you see the "John Romero is going to make you his bitch... 4 realz dis time yo" advertizing campaign for Daikatana 2?
That is now. Will that be true in the future?
I think Nokia has valuable input, such as: - Sidetalking = bad - dont do what we did

Applications should be built to be more efficient, to handle modern hardware, instead of simply relying on consumers purchasing faster hardware.

Open sourcing games, and game engines and tools is different.
It was patented in the USA through the US Patent Office. Thats how.
How is this funny? Its sad that the submitter failed to check facts, or worse pulled them out of his ass.
