What is to prevent the state of California from entering into reciprocal tax agreements with foreign governments to exchange the data? I am pretty sure that only the federal governemtn can make deals with foreign countries.
EQ *invented* click spam games, i think they actually wrote it on contract with mouse manufacturers to increase demand for replacements after they wear out.
if this happens on any scale, i expect the mpaa/riaa to push through 1984/maxheadroom style legislation requiring a TV in every house turned on 24/7, and make it illegal to turn them off.
you overestimate the power of the **AA's. They have a lot of power but there are more powerful forces in other areas, in order to require TV's etc. They would have to overcome the powerful anti-TV violence Left and the religious Right.
oyu are confusing Free with open source, open source means that you can get the source when you buy it, Free means the source is available to all with a non-restrictive license.
you seem to be making the foolish assumption that there is such a thing as an absolute left, right, and center. Fox is slightly right of the current center of american politics, the other networks are significantly left of the current center of american politics. now comparing the american center to the global center is one thing, but the network's primary audience is the american people, thus they would do best to hover around the political center of the US.
actually the reason Fox has kicked the collective asses of the other networks is because people were sick to death of the strong left slant of CBS, CNN and whatnot. they are much farther Left than Fox is Right.
google has not censored anything, GIS is a poor search tool overall, singe it is much harder to form a network of links via pictures. with html pages they link to each other and the algorithm ranks pages as how relevant they are, but images only have two pieces of info, words used to link to them, and filenames, it is much harder to rank images.
i don't know aobut you but i remember when i could back up all my important data to a CD like 3-7 times before it was full, now? more like 10 DVD-R's for a partial backup
and at $250,000/infringement who fucking cares, they still can sue most users for more than their annual salary, this is what happens when we allow corporations to control our government.
i compared it to bose because my dad bought a bose CD/radio, bose is good for putting in a room that oyu don't want all wired up but still want decent* sound, and of course, have more money than common sense.
could have just been that it was playing in the corner of a large, assymetrical irregular shaped room rather than along the edge of a small near-cube that makes up my dorm and bedroom (two places my audio system has been) but it was the only thing that came close to quality (and yes it did sound nice, not amazing, none of that "revolutionary audio" shit but the bose system did sound nice and it was a small single unit player which did a good job projecting the sound into the room)
have you purchased cigs in either NY or ME?
when was i a jerk about it?

nah they will just add a flat tax of $0.15/minute
where do you keep the 1/2 kid? the freezer?
take the bank to small claims court most likely they won't even bother to show up, or file a complaint of fraud with the police, or both.

my guess is that your sata also has liquid bearings and that is where the noise reduction is coming from.

actually an open source restaraunt would give out all the recipies with any food you bought

they would do more then make a dent.
They may make a dent, but then we would make a crater.

* decent meaning not crappy $35 cd player sound.
don't get me wrong, i would much rather have a CCRadio from C.Crane than a bose wave.

one line will do it "If you do not cancel my subscription i will issue a chargeback and report you as committing credit card fraud"
