    spammers do not use the 0wned machines to access the users mail server, the 0wned machine becomes a mail server which is part of the virus/trojan used to take over the machine in the first place

    the problem is that windows is near useless on a limited user account, you cannot install or remove stuff, untill windows permits the installation of software to user accounts and beefs up local security it will remain insecure.

    it wouldn't be hard to add a safety mode where the compiler scans for anything that would potentially damage existing components of the system before compiling.

    I doubt that space is quantized, if it were than an object or particle moving along a non-linear path would have tiny induced stresses as is stretched and contracted in order to "fit" into the smallest possible movement for any given particle, such an arraingement would cause a fairly noticable(on a galactic scale) seeping of energy from all moving objects.

    a OTP message is actually anything less than or equal to the length, as a messagwe could be padded with spaces (or random junk, doesn't matter with OTP). possibly longer as well if a message is compressed first

    using clever ways to manipulate data you can have an atom hold more than one bit, i can think up two binary bits to give it right away, (spin [clockwise/CounterClockwise], vibration [vibrating above x magnatude, not vibrating above x]) as well as one trinary (charge -1, 0 , +1)
