I have a 700mhz Dual USB 16mb RADEON iBook, and I have had to replace the logic board on it twice The second logic board also fried after a while. Now that my warranty is out, the next time this sucker goes out im going to have to try to repair it myself, but Apple sucks for replacing broken laptops with broken motherboards.
Other then that, OS X is the best OS ever. Im very happy that I did purchase my ibook because now that garageband is out(Shameless plug http://www.macidol.com/jamroom/Tempest), ALL of my friends are incredibly jealous of me. I also tend to use my PC, but only for programming and games, my ibook is my main work pc, even though the battery only lasts 20seconds and theres a big chance the logic board will fry again, I love OS X.

No, 2gb of flash memory is VERY expenisive, that would make the MP3 player cost at least $500
The new miniPods will most likely use the new 1" toshiba platters and have 32mb RAM like the current iPods do to load MP3s to prevent skipping.

believe you me, watching DivX movies on my palm with its 480x320 screen is annoyingly small, but on a 2" screen, your just asking for it.
1/3 the memory, 1/3 the size... thats what I call price competitive.
Not to mention, Toshiba has just introduced new 1" hard drives in 2gb and 4gb capacities. Toshiba alos makes the HDs for the current iPods.

It already supports VoIP. Toshiba includes software in them, the only problem is you need a separate service subscription.

According to Apple, they make very little money off of iTMS. They said the main reason they do it though is to sell iPods.
