    Your 12 month hardware is probably a GTX285/275 SLI setup or a similar ATI one. Most users don't have such luxury :P

    I use a 3d Connexion SpaceExplorer 3D mouse on a daily basis for work... There is no way any multi-touch screen will EVER come close to the level of control that mouse gives me.

    The next gen Fermi is supposed to do ~600 Double Precision GFLOPS. It also has ECC Memory, has a threading unit built into it, and a lot more cache.

    Well, what was missing from the article summary is that this computer is going to be built using nVidia GPUs, not CPUs for the majority of computing...

    Although really, with the way Fermi is shaping up, it is turning into a very specialized CPU.
