If Spain is anywhere near as litigious as the US, I could see them facing a rather large class-action lawsuit from the owners of infected computers. But IANAL, and certainly not a Spanish lawyer.
It sounds like you are on top of things, but I'd say you are understaffed. We have 10-15 Windows servers, and a few hundred XP/Vista machines, and one admin-type, plus two full-time equivalent techs, and are looking for at least one more.
I'm in a similar situation to you, nearing 30, contemplating going back to school. Are you planning to go to a local university, or do it online? Will you be a full-time student? How will you support your family while you are going to school?
It's great and all that he's so smart, but how will his experience translate into change in our nation's energy policy? We get most of our power from coal, oil, natural gas, and hydro, so how does his research have any bearing on those sources?
In reality, there is no comparison. Unless you live in a MAJOR metropolitan area, GSM 3G is non-existent. On the other hand, Verizon offers EVDO in many areas of NORTH DAKOTA, where the largest 'city' has fewer than 100k people. When any GSM carrier can claim coverage in a significant portion of this state, I'll give them some consideration. Until then, they're about as useful as an asshole on an elbow.
Just look at the coverage map of Verizon and ATT in my area (zip code 58318) and you'll see why. Even if I could get an ATT phone and plan, I'd get my contract canceled after a short while because of 'excessive use of 3rd party networks'. Plus Verizon is rolling out EVDO across ND, so they offer 3G, where GSM gives me zero.
Am I the only one upset with his pronunciation of Gentoo and Ubuntu? Where he says jen-too and yoo-bun-too, I always thought it was Ghen-too and oo-BOON-too. Hmmm, only me? Ok.
Forget getting tech from overseas, I can't even get most of the cool cellphones available IN the US because GSM is non-existent in most of rural America. Verizon will soon roll out 3G CDMA within 80 miles of my home, but I can't even get GSM service if I want to. How's that for 'Tech I can't get.'
They took years to phase out the old cards for new, secure ones, and have since gone to a lease-only model for equipment so they can track who actually has a receiver and demand the equipment back if they're not suing it.
...can't WAIT to play FARMVILLE on my PHONE!!! instead of click click click click click I'll get to tap tap tap tap tap tap!

Don't forget FarmVille... How many of them are going to get on Facebook (Yay!) only to find their beloved Flash games unavailable?
Shouldn't they be arrested, charged, and tried then, rather than summarily executed?

Is his listed weight correct? 565 pounds?!!! How could he force the girls to even FIND his penis, let alone use it against them???
I, on the other hand, don't think it's realistic enough.
Thanks, Will

What if you built your spaceship on top of the hill?
Its population density was 94.484 inhabitants/sq mi (36.48/km^2)
United Kingdom 243,820 km^2, with 246ppl/km^2
That's a big difference, and I doubt the UK companies could operate in the US, outside of major metropolitan areas, the way they do business there.
Two words: Ladder Theory.
where the hell do you get free 250 GB hard drives?!?

For example, almost no coverage for GSM services. This is why it is my firm position that GSM SUCKS!

I'm guessing the scanner they use is fairly sophisticated, because bar code scanners aren't all that high-tech anymore, are they?
Considering you can get the refurb brown Zune on Woot for like $85 when it shows up, I'd have thought they'd be sold out already.... :P
Apparently "Mininimum Interoperability Standards" does not include spell-check capabilities.

Freudian slip? ;)
Wow, if you're paying $5000 for a 50" HDTV I've got some land in Arizona to sell you...
