But i really needed to work on the files,,so break the policy of "dont bring file to you home"

But i did not know i could not install that particular software: the god damn policy says" Do not install any software.

It's one thing to have policies and another one to make people respectt it. The people cant be trusted to obey law, rules or policies so the IT dpt needs to put safeguards in place so this does not happen again.

it's a little bit easier when the only compettions is either linux or Apple.

Sony just doesn't get that throwing technology arounf that aren't supported just doesn't work. Now Blue-ray is different since they have major companies backing them but hd-dvd is cheaper and it also have major companies backing them.

Sony may have two movies studios but if all the other ones band together and say "we use hd-dvd" they will lose that war.

I would of like to get Blue-ray because it's suppose to be better and have a lot more capacity but let's face it, i wont be a betamax victim.

    This is totally crap.

We should not pay anything to avoid t.v. adds because we are already bombarded with adds and the broadcasters get big bucks from their sponsors and we dont get nothing from it, some will say nothing's free but i already pay cable and the mere pretention to make me pay more just so i have the RIGHT to change channel on my OWN t.v. is preposterous.

And what about other channels? I'm not sure they would appreciate the fact that some of their viewers arent able to easily switch between channels to avoid boring adds.

FUCK THAT. the day they give a free 42" plasma t.v. then i'll reconsider, until then i hope someone scraps this project.

Either way it's not good for the consumer who'll have to spit tons of cash $$$ just to run one game. In the end i think nvidia or ati will spit out a card with a new slot that boost even more, so we just have to wait for that new technology and just forget about sli or quad unless you are rich and dont car to waist that much money
