Well - my main, and not really scientific reason to regard your arguments as silly:

Religiopus masters have always stated things as being the truth without giving much evidence, but just making people saying otherwise look silly.

The earth is flat you said - it has shown no to be.

The earth is the center of the universe - it has shown not to be.

Several of these silly statements have come out of religion, and at some point religious masters have just lost their credebility(spelling?).

It is comparable to scientist that shout up and say that they have come up with some cheap way to produce endless energy - today, and it wont cost anyone anything.. They just need $10m to build the prototype and we will all be happy!

The fifth time he has failed to come up with this miracle machine, would YOU give him the money when he came and claimed the same thing once more?

But as you think - its not really worth discussing as none of us would probably change out minds! :)

A little not - afair it isnt the deep linking part that is illegal in denmark - deep linking is legal in denmark, as it should be - the thing newsbooster did wrong according to the judge, was to do database lookups in the newspapers sources.

That is - on THIS occation the court found it to be similar to a database lookup in someone elses database - something that is illegal without prior permission.

One note - I just woke, and its a long time i read about the start of the case(its ½-1 year old i believe), so my memory should not be trusted at all! :D

The early beta is probably the reason nVidia wouldn't release this before. They don't want to see numbers I like this out in the public before they're ready.

Ready for what - making some optimizations to the drivers to make them look good in some random benchmark?

Ofc the drivers are beta, and the final release will probably be faster, but these figures look more realistic than the figures Nvidia told when the card was announced!

And tbh, unless things change drasticly(they seldom do), this card will probably not be much more than 20-25% faster than an radeon 9700 - but the radeon will probably be a bit more than 20-25% cheaper at that time!

Besides - who cares about those $400+ gfx cards? No sane person would buy them anyway, but instead go for a Ti4200 or Radeon 9500 Pro - value for money you know... :)
