Apparently, this is due to one of allofmp3's payment processors (not that it makes it any better, actually, I'd think it makes it worse that a payment processor is so willing to send data)
The fact is that people who believe in Creationism believe in it because it's an easy answer. Anything you say about it will be met with the response that "The Bible says creationism is true."
I didn't say that I wanted them to vote Republican. If they vote Democratic, that means I don't have to. I can vote for a 3rd party and not have to worry about a Republican winning because of it.
Maybe if you live in Florida or Ohio, but I live in New York, so my vote doesn't mean shit. It's kind of nice in a way. I can vote for whatever freak I want, the Democratic candidate will win anyway.
I own a PS3 and I like to play it, but I also don't present a list of games, 70% of which aren't even out, as a reason to get excited.
Then again, I have VF5, Oblivion, MotorStorm, NGS, and Resistance, and I've gotten to the point where I don't even need any more games. Maybe after I finish NGS.
Although there's nothing about it that really needs a new system (other than the screen resolution), and the fact that it's essentially a remake of an old Amiga game, I can play Super Stardust for hours.
Jesus. It's not like it was in a goddamn TV episode or something. It was in Wrath of Khan! I guess I might as well tell you.. Darth Vader is also Luke's father. Bet you didn't see that one coming!
You're right about the base data rate of Bluray being higher (obviously?), but I believe the 2x bluray drive in the PS3 is something like half as fast at data transfer as the 12x in the 360.
I personally don't think that having to supply my identity to get an IP is an improvement at all... The current situation where I am is, I just plug a cable into a wall and turn on DHCP. I can upload music with impunity, and there's no way for anyone to identify me. If someone is messing up the network, the admin can still block MAC addresses. However, if we start getting letters from the RIAA, they're going to be SOL as far as trying to sue anyone.
I'm just speaking for myself, but I was really excited about getting a Wii when I couldn't get one, and now that I have one, it's just.. meh. I bring it out when guests come over, but the rest of the time, it just collects dust.
Bechtel... Wow. People call Sony evil... That's a whole different league there.
Maybe they'll release Home. It's still supposed to be in "September or October."
Ever heard of Windows?

I wouldn't really say the rest of us are net tax-receivers, most people don't receive anything from the federal government.
My boss uses a Mac.

Brownback, Huckabee, Tancredo raised their hands when asked "I'm curious, is there anybody on the stage that does not agree, believe in evolution?"

I think you're thinking of Richard Nixon.
They were doing a decent job of it before the PS3 came out. The PS3 is now outselling the 360 in all regions.
On every goddamn story about consoles, someone starts bitching about people saying "SKU". It's a valid term, get over it.

Considering that the Wii is more comparable to the PS2 than to the PS3 or the 360, it's not really doing that great.

It doesn't really help anyone on the fence, it's still more expensive to get a 360 and this drive than to get a PS3.

I don't do computational chemistry, but we do have an experimental PS3 cluster.

24 32.
Then again, there are also people that have a 61" TV. Also, some people like sitting on a couch.
Well, considering he's the editor of a popular gaming blog, I'm sure he's not regretting being able to write articles about the 360.
If it's illegal to default on a loan, then it should also be illegal to charge interest, since that's why they do it (supposedly)
