Sorry, this is wrong.
Where else in the 'net could Programmers, White Hats, Black Hats, Lawyers and Engineers all debate an important ethical question, that soemone has got themselves in to ?
Yep boring already exists. Poor sales piece for the company selling this so called OS. I think most/.ers would cream their pant if they saw a real C&C system.
Ok - now I am sold. Debian!
I know Google is my friend, but any details of which version of debian etc and limitation would be great. Also is the install (of debian) easy ?
Rather than a nook, I thinking of buying one of the cheap Android tablets on ebay. VIA 8650 7" Google Android 2.2 etc. Vairous names such as epad-e2. They apparently play flash, youtube etc vidoes. And cost £130.
Anyone brought/used/seen one ?
The Mozilla Foundation is doing this reasonably well,
The Mozilla Foundation has Google paying for it, Debian has Shuttleworth paying for it.
its main foundering point was that they often carried libertarianism to the point of absurdity
But Ubuntu has a much more pragmatic approach. I struggling to understand why you do not like Ubuntu. (Hence the reason for the two quotes). Debian is too fundamentalist, but Shuttleworth has too much influence over Ubuntu as her is paying for it. Where as Mozillia Foundation, is fairly pragmatic - yet Google pays for it. Do it follow that Google has too much influence over Mozilla ?
With respect, I see you above post as lost of thing that are wrong with others development models, without a clear vision on what is the "Best" solution.
Think about it, if journalists asked real questions, guys like Bush and Blair would have been as embarrased as when they meet a private citizen who manages to corner them. Brits might remember Blair being totally unable to counter woman questioning him on public health care. Brown the same. What NO report mentioned is that not a SINGLE ONE OF THE PRESS CORE asked those questions. If you are reporter and you haven't had a poltician cry, then suck. And this is the same around the world.
Sorry this is incorrect. The BBC in particular programs like the Newsnight ask the tough questions. Have a look at one famous example (Paxman Vs. Howard). The Politicians do not get an easy ride in the UK.
Same here. I have a very small consultancy (evening work). Rather than trying to do a logo myself or not having a logo. At £40 I had a good solid logo.
AV+
* Maintain single-member constituencies.
* Would lead to a more proportional result than first-past-the-post system , but would still give a built-in advantage to the largest party and allow one-party rule during landslide years.
* Would be more likely to prevent extremist parties or fringe parties from winning seats than entirely proportional systems. [No BNP!]
* Would lessen the necessity of tactical voting.
The Roy Jenkins Commission settled on this option.
Great I am older than Microsoft by Two Days. I am not sure if this makes me fell happy or sad.
Middle age starting to show, grey hairs poking through, kids are more energetic, getting more canny, income reasonsable. Well enough about Microsoft - what about me ?
Buying lots of subsidise PS3 and then NOT buying the games they are worse off.

Does the Telepad play Youtube videos (flash videos). (BBC iPlayer for the UK) ? I tempted to buy one.
Thanks for the feedback.

Stop on.
Linker was always under-rated.
How is this a troll ?
"stop lines moved right back (20-30m from the junction)"
"entering a box junction"
"entire green man phase"
I spy another Traffic Engineer.

No mod point. Pyjamas is wonderful.
I have been looking at http://www.alfresco.com./ Looks like it will be included in Ubuntu soon.
And now they maybe a chance to pick up more cheaper boxes fro the rest of the house.
Have no mod points, but well said.
Simple Mytv backend and cheap Xboxes running XBMC. Works really well - look at it now. Multiple front-end all around the house for £25.
