    The labor party is closer to a socialist party.

    They are not anything like democrat.

    US parties both are capitalist oriented, but distinguish on where control is... (FOR vs BY, INTERNAL vs EXTERNAL, CENTRAL vs DECENTRAL).

    In Australia, that issue isn't a divider, the divider is capitalist (liberal) vs socialist (labor) models.

    I don't think there is a socialist party in the US.

    They are not democrats... they are socialists (closer).

    They are worker's rights, government ownership, looking after the poor ... I don't think the US has one of those :)

    I think it was 0.x of Thunderbird where x>=5

    It was annoying, because I never install autoscanners, however a new laptop I had decided to have a Norton AV installed that wasn't removable - easily.

    Scanned my Inbox file, and deleted it because there was a virus in it from before I installed Nortons AV.

    However - like most AV software, you can put it straight back.

    No biggy ..... however I turn off automatic scanning these days... just manually scan every so often.

    Yes - and remember any of you US citizens, if you ever move to Australia you will not be allowed to bring your US dollars with you, you will be forced to spend time re-earning your money again from scratch.

    Some people pay money, others pay alot more - time.

    Personally, as long as people don't buy a toon - I don't have a problem.

    My Mage 60 isn't wealthy enough to go on raids and stuff, and I certainly think buying gold is a valid option.

    The only differences this decision will have on the game in Australia are:

    1. Increased popularity of the game
    2. Lower profits to the manufacturer
    3. Larger US/AU bandwidth usage for a few weeks.

    Overhead shouldn't be over 20% in any modern organisation, now in your case - if the total organisation was running that well or better - there wouldn't be a problem.

    I suspect in your case, 8 months was just idiotic and that a systemic issue was at play. However this might not be the case.

    The place I recently left - had reached around 20% efficiency.

    Literally, one in five days was spent working, the other 4 days spent fighting for the right to work.

    As one example (an extreme one), a simple electronic phone book which took around 2 weeks of work - had (at the time of my leaving) been in discussion, revisitation etc for over a year.

    I got made reduntant - why, not because I had no work, but because the work hadn't been approved to proceed after 4 years.

    Anyway - enough ranting ... from the outside it must be a nightmare, if it's like that from the inside.

    PS: Around 30% of the staff were in the same or a similar pickle to me :)

    Ah - if I were so lucky :)

    Yes - that's been there since word go.... but going into setup every 5 minutes is far from useful.

    And the resultant failed sends when you forget to do it also are a pain.

    Yes, and a desktop with VPN connections as well...

    Yes - so within each account there is multiple SMTP servers (I'd still want to limit for each account, which servers are available).

    The rules are pretty straight forward, based upon which connection and e-mail addresses you are sending from.

    Well as I have said elsewhere - I have a plugin that lets me select.

    However the smart thing to do, would be to allow multiple SMTP servers (hey what a concept) for an account, then when you send TB uses the appropriate one.
