Not that I've been duped in to believing human caused global warming, but we need more passive/green energy sources like this. Geothermal is one of the most abundant, constant sources of energy that doesn't generate any waste. You don't have to worry about using exotic materials for the cycle of storage as with wind and solar. I would recommend looking at some pictures of geothermal power plants, I was very impressed with the first one I saw. They don't even really need buildings.
Bill Gates donates billions of his personal money to chairity and the EU wants to take billions from the poor that would receive it in order to subsidize its 15% unemployment rate because it can't convince its people to work.
Many times if you see overlappying calls or many calls to one number you don't know who it is, it's a matter of how the call is routed. What you're seeing is an intermediate number the cell network is using to route your call to the POTS or to the other cell phone. You shouldn't be charged airtime for these calls but you will see a duration. Just make sure it is not charging you airtime minutes.
As for cloning, like other people said, it's very unlikely. That was one of the main things GSM and CDMA focused on when moving away from analog and simple TDMA.
Asking if your phone is being cloned nowadays is like asking if someone can see your SSL connection. Sure, there are lots of things that could be done, it would just be cheaper to kill you and take your checkbook though:)
While wind power is much better than burning fossil fuel, it is not environment-neutral. Wind farms slow wind flows down and do alter the climate in the area they are placed, affecting the natural inhabbitants. This should always be considered.
Why would you put the keys in alphabetical order? If you have to relearn the whole keymap anyway, you might as well have put it in Dvorak order or something where research has been done to find the most effective key ordering.
Your logic is flawed. You do not own the car if you have a loan on it, you "own" it on lein, the bank hold the title, that's why they can take it if you don't pay. Everything you say is based on this false assumption that it's your car, which it's not.
When I want to mess around with my operating system hours upon hours trying to configure everything correctly, that's when I feel most productive using lunix.
Where's the slashdot patent rage over this? Microsoft patents isNot and generates 500 posts of how much they hate the company, this company comes up with a technology that could revolutionize moble devices as we know it and the only instance of the word "patent" in all of these replies is someone making a joke.
Patents arn't a broad encompasing thing. They are very specific to *exactly* what the patent clauses claim. Their patent on the isNot operaton comparing two memory locations in a BASIC programming language is exactly that. Before Microsoft came up with it, it simply did not exist, you had to do it another way or it existed in some other language.
You guys should be thankful that MS will waste 750$+ patenting something this simple. If you guys ever need to patent something in the future you'll be happy the application fee is so cheap because large corporations waste money on simple mundane patents.
It doesn't matter if we pay once or twice, there is a flow of money in to productivity such as this: Money Productivity Weather data. If there is less money comming in one channel(charging after the fact) there needs to me more money comming in the other channel(taxes) in order to keep the same amount of weather data at the same productivity. Learn economics before you try playing politics.
Thank you, for this proper chastisement of the ignorant.

How many times do you monkeys need to be told that abstracts are not part of the patent... read the claims.

If you think a goverment is anything more than a corporation with guns, you're fooling yourself.

No I'm not :)
Just two corrupt parties fighting for more power. Vote Libertarian http://www.lp.org/
I heard that Linus once raped a goat and then stole its stock options, just beacuse the goat didn't use Linux! Interesting...

Thanks for the dupe, faggot. How are you able to post on Slashdot when you don't even read it?.

Sounds stupid.
Worst... idea... ever.
But IBM is credible for Linux? And you people call yourselves intelligent.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Sorry, that's just funny.
No really, nerds are funny, keep making jokes, just keep doing it.
