    Microsoft's strategy so far is to find people who used to be proponents of Linux and other open source products and get them to do a 180, possibly as a result of a very fat paycheck though who knows.

    Next up. MS welcomes Linus to the NT kernel development team.

    Europa, Titan and Mars are seen as the planets/moons most likely to have life other than Earth.

    Europa has ice on the surface but it is believed there could be a warm ocean below where aquatic life could live off the heat of volcanic ocean vents much like some basic life on earth does.

    Titan is supposed to be the only moon with an Atmosphere.

    I think the next revolution in CPUs is going to be based on price. Once the CPU has been designed and the R&D is payed for why not churn out the silicon for mass markets sake.

    In fact I can invisage a day when most motherboards have inbuilt CPUs like they have inbuilt chipsets.

    Microsoft Windows could be seen as the McDonalds of the software world so this must be a move to shake and change their image. Not only are McDonalds actively trying to sell better and healthier food but they are also moving to use better software as well. I wish the best of luck to them.

    Usually if the cpu temp is excessive that is a sure "fire" sign that it's been done wrong. You only every screw it up once.

    I read about a survery once although I can't remember where ( quite possibly on here though!), that showed that people in IT have a higher rate of mental illness than the general population.

    I'm not going to put forward any ideas as to why this could be but I'm sure many of us have a few suspicions.
