Perhaps because the in-game money means less to them, but can be given greater value by the people who buy it on eBay? They lose less, but donate the same.
Actually, even accents wouldn't do it. What accent mark would indicate that a 'gh' is supposed to be pronounced 'f', or 'ch' as 'k'? There's lots of these. We silly English speakers just need to change how all our words are spelled.
Ruff Ryders, there's a step in the fixing of the English language.
It's actually kind of funny that you say that, even aside from the joke. Though they are quite literally god games, when I play them I wish I actually did have complete control over my subjects--despite the context, I do not. It's just an illusion.
Which, I suppose, makes it even more like the monarchy, doesn't it?
I notice that in almost all cases, people are knighted when they're way past their prime and are generally not doing anything worth mentioning in polite conversation anymore.
Ok then produce me an APE and make it into a man. Oh, you can't. HAHA. Ok then, show me a situation where that happened. No, no, showing me bones that are millions of years old and saying "see how similar these two skulls look?" doesn't fly worth shit. It only proves that there were either some really fucked up looking humans, or some fucked up looking apes, or some other animal that lived back then.
It's almost amusing how ignorant some people can be about the things they argue.
That skull IS from another animal. From a common ancestor of humans and other modern primates.
Humans did not evolve from apes. Humans and apes share an ancestor.
For some things in WoW, grouping is required. For others, you'll have no problem going solo. At any point in the game, you'll probably have both types of quest available to you -- at least up to level 45 or so. Past that, I can't say.
I laugh at you. If it's 41 degrees, the farthest I go is to wear a light jacket. When I have to walk a mile to class in that weather, I usually just stick with whatever clothes I'm wearing, which will, sometimes, include long sleeves.
I'll give an in-depth explanation of the Auction Houses.
When you want to put an item up for auction, you select the item, pick a starting price (it will pick one for you, you can change it) and, if you like, a buyout price. You also select the length of the auction, there are three choices. The default is 8 hours, I forget the others. You will also need to pay a fee in order to auction the item. This is dependent on the value of the item and the length of the auction.
If the item sells, you recieve the money through the in-game mail system. Otherwise, you recieve the item back the same way. In either case, the initial fee is gone.
To bid on items, you just pick the item, fill in your amount, and click "Bid." The game fills in the minimum bid for you when you click an item, which is a certain percentage above the current bid. When you click bid, you lose the money right there. You can also buy out the item if a price is specified, and win it immediately.
You are notified whenever you are outbid, or when you win an auction. If you win, you get the item in the mail. If you are outbid, you immediately recieve a full refund in the mail.
Anything else?

When people who legally own the game are cracking it to avoid a hassle, you know your copy protection isn't working.
Frespace 2 is pretty modern. And it's very close behind TIE Fighter in the race for best space sim ever. On rare days, I'd even prefer it -- it's close enough in gameplay quality that the graphics can tip the scales.
In my opinion, of course.

He's VERY casual. It's not a challenge to hit 25 in a week if you don't have anything else to do. Hitting level ten, the point at which you really get into the game, takes about 6 hours, I'd say. Past that it depends on play style. You can max level (60) in a month, if you really want to. And they're working hard to make sure that character will still have plenty to do afterwards.
THe nice thing about the game is that it makes an attempt to cater to everybody. It doesn't succeed fully, of course, because that's just impossible, but it comes much closer than I expected.
You just mentioned two games that are incredibly difficult to grief in. WoW has no kill stealing and all PvP combat is explicitly consentual, even on PvP servers. Guild Wars....it's all instanced. You really can't mess with people at all. So pretty muc hte only thing you can do is spam the chat.
Not quite. If Blizzard's site wasn't dead you'd be able to get a non-FP key right now. A Fileplanet key just gurantees you a spot. Blizzard will stop account creation from their 'public' key once they're full.
By giving states more money, the poor could have gotten tax breaks. Instead, he chose to cut taxes for the people the government was taxing, which led to less money for the states, which led to increases in taxes that actually affect the poor. He knew that that would happen, and yet he pushed as hard as he could for those tax cuts.
It wasn't a very good game (not terrible, but not exactly deep), but I kept playing Armed and Dangerous just to get to the next cutscene. THere they made humor the player's reward.
Then, after I beat the whole game, I found out there was a code to unlock them all.
Couldn't find a way to play them outside of the game, though.
In a restaurant in Wildwood, NJ, I did this.
They refused to serve them to me.
They would, but they no longer have the resources to create insanely annoying techno music to embed in the program.

Not sure. Ask those damn British people.

God, I threw up a little when I typed that.
The funniest thing about that post (and this is always funny to me, wherever I encounter it) is the concept of a cucumber sandwich. Really.

Like, oh, you know, Peter Molyneux.
...Is that a direct quote? I think it is. Not sure, but I think so.
More frightening: if it IS a direct quote, was it off the top of your head?

I spent much of today playing WoW WITH my girlfriend. Hah!

Are you from Texas?
Well, when you decide you need a game and you need it now, and you look at the clock and it says 1:30AM, your choices are very limited.
The same game now has a third engine? Whoa. Just make it good enough the first time and stick with it, please.

The game servers themselves are just fine. The web server and the game servers are not related.
I'd be more concerned if they were to put all their efforts into the webserver, rather than keep the game working right.

I wouldn't miss him if he were gone. He's already sold out. There is no more selling. He's just about as sold as can be.

And still, the meaning of DS isn't clear at all. Down's Syndrome? Desert Storm? Dalkon Shield?
I'm more confused about all the articles about Paintshop Pro.
