Just put an assload (tm) of them in some kind of chamber under the pie. Have some kind of cellophane that when removed, heats up the carbon stuff, and you have a hot piebox!

  7. Bluetooth is a well wanted feature! on FCC Still Pushing for Number Portability on Nov. 24 · · Score: 1

I currently have Verizon service. When my contract expires in mid march of next year, i fully intend on changing to a bluetooth enabled phone. I was speaking with the Verizon rep the other day, and he told me that there arent enough people asking for bluetooth phones for them to invest in that technology, and provide those phones. The kicker of the situation was when he told me that we have a bluetooth headset! gah.

I honestly dont care about the camera-phone aspect (AT&T has a nice bluetooth phone with no camera). I'll probably switch to that when everything is all said and done. I really do like the verizon service, but it's sad they dont offer the phones and features that i'd like to pay for.

This is why we have perepherial Vision, and Mirrors in our cars.

I for one am constantly checking my mirrors and mentally keeping track of where other cars are around me just incase something unavoidable does happen and i am forced to change lanes. So no... it isn't blindly.

It mainly boils down to drivers training. This is something that they kind of teach in the more expensive classes (Master Drive). Having situational awareness has saved me from multiple accidents.

  12. Brakeing isnt the solution on Honda Crash Detection System · · Score: 3, Insightful

90% of the accidents i've seen are from people just SLAMMING on their brakes. They cant stop in time, and careen into the back of another vehicle, or T-bone them.

The solution is more drivers education. You have to learn that you have more than just 1 dimention of freedom, and can change lanes to avoid a collision. More education, Less 'toys' in the car to distract the driver.

So yes, the sale of DVD burners would slow down if people got more useage out of their regular cd-burners.

My parents and girlfriend even noticed it.
