Travian is an online multiplayer browser-based game developed by Travian Games GmbH in Germany.[1] For the international market the game is published by Gameforge AG.[2] In Travian, players interact simultaneously and compete with thousands of others in a virtual world set roughly in Classical antiquity, at the time of the Roman Empire. I saw it on a bootleg VHS many many years ago. My quest to find that movie on a newer format has failed. Someone needs to put it on VCD or DVD... I'd certianly buy it.
Wouldnt the term Global Positioning System be incorrect when it's just a Local Positioning system? Come on... come up with a better buzz word. I'm out of ideas right now... but Indoor GPS just doesn't fly in my book.
You know those little hand warmers... expose them to air and they heat up to about 120F. If you buy them in bulk, or make your own i'm sure it's relatively cheap. Just put an assload (tm) of them in some kind of chamber under the pie. Have some kind of cellophane that when removed, heats up the carbon stuff, and you have a hot piebox!
I currently have Verizon service. When my contract expires in mid march of next year, i fully intend on changing to a bluetooth enabled phone. I was speaking with the Verizon rep the other day, and he told me that there arent enough people asking for bluetooth phones for them to invest in that technology, and provide those phones. The kicker of the situation was when he told me that we have a bluetooth headset! gah.
I honestly dont care about the camera-phone aspect (AT&T has a nice bluetooth phone with no camera). I'll probably switch to that when everything is all said and done. I really do like the verizon service, but it's sad they dont offer the phones and features that i'd like to pay for.
I've been helping my friends get this NASTYNESS off of their machines too.
Something else you might want to try is booting into safe mode (F8 right when Windows splashscreen pops). Deleting the registry entries, and the virus runprogram (msblast.exe). Also please... PLEASE patch your computer.
When you're done, run some AV on your system. Some ppl had a 2nd virus sneaking around that they didnt even know about (Spybot.worm).
This is why we have perepherial Vision, and Mirrors in our cars.
I for one am constantly checking my mirrors and mentally keeping track of where other cars are around me just incase something unavoidable does happen and i am forced to change lanes. So no... it isn't blindly.
It mainly boils down to drivers training. This is something that they kind of teach in the more expensive classes (Master Drive). Having situational awareness has saved me from multiple accidents.
90% of the accidents i've seen are from people just SLAMMING on their brakes. They cant stop in time, and careen into the back of another vehicle, or T-bone them.
The solution is more drivers education. You have to learn that you have more than just 1 dimention of freedom, and can change lanes to avoid a collision. More education, Less 'toys' in the car to distract the driver.
Lately i've been feeling a little portly... i'm not one for much exercise (sure walking is fine... and i'm on a lasertag team, so that is a workout). So, i completely cut out all soda from my diet. Substituting water or juice for the caffinated beast. I started noticing a difference about a week into it. I lost about 10 lbs over about 6 weeks just by not drinking soda and having about 70oz of water a day.
My parents and girlfriend even noticed it.
Drink a LOT of water, and instead of reaching for that green can... reach for a glass.
Oh... and no ice in the water, it's just a personal preference, but you can drink more if your body doesnt have to expell energy to warm up the water.
What if instead of blades, you had lasers? Self contained in the undercarrage of the mower. Wouldnt have to worry about grass clippings...they'd just get burnt up.
Power would be a large concern, but *shrug* i'm not even on the right topic here.
Wow, Airsoft weaponry in the office. I'm very supprised at this one. Are there any sort of rules/requirements for this? Some airsoft guns can propell the 6mm BBs faster than 500FPS. I personaly have a Air-powered P99. That thing feels like someone just whapped you with a really powerfull rubber band (not something i'd want while i'm sitting there typing). I've also got a spring powered one. That one just feels like someone flicked you (just an annoyance while typing).
Minesweeper is serious business!

Reminds me of the Matrix bastardization on detonate.net.

Sounds like an urban legend to me. Try again.

No, Not true.
You can burn a full length movie onto about 700 megs at a decent quality. Making people able to burn their movies on to CD instead of DVD.
So yes, the sale of DVD burners would slow down if people got more useage out of their regular cd-burners.

What happens when a user under the age of 18 clicks the 'I Agree' button? Since nothing is legaly binding to them, what happens?

Betwen these two houses do you have line of Sight? If you do, there are some fairly inexpensive ways to go about it.
Directional Antenas on an Airport (apple). The base stations are about $299 (US), and can be configured using avalible software to work with x86.
There are many other ways...but that is the first one that pops into mind. I recall a story on slashdot about a DIYS microwave link ( link here )
