  1. Re:Any surprise? on Surprisingly Few People Collect On GTA Hot Coffee · · Score: 0

i bought the game, loved the game, if i collected any money from it, I'd send it back to rockstar for making a kicka$$ game. that low of a number would indicate that only a select few actually were offended as the article states. people need to get off their moral high horse and let others decide for themselves what they want to view. to many people in this country let themselves be guided blindly by extremist groups, usually the religious right. Take a stand people; think for yourselves once in a while.

Here Here, I was reading down the lists and saw about 3 people that had AV listed. Personally, that goes on before any service packs and before it connects to the internet. Then it connects and i get the updated dats and engine. After that, all XP, W2k, or W2k3 Patches and service packs. That and make sure you have a good firewall, clarkconnect for me, and you cut the time you have to rebuild down considerably. Just a thought though.

here here... I have a jukebox 5000. I have upgraded the os to rockbox and added a 30GB hard drive to. couple that with 2050ma batteries and this thing has to be at the top of the list of most cool gadgets out there. Archos seems to never get any recognition at all. I'd love to see some other reviews of their products and see what everyone else thinks of them.

  25. subject on Is the Internet Your Source of Knowledge? · · Score: 1

I was going through school right as the internet was being used on a daily basis more and more. Half my wonderful years of education were spent looking through books, newspapers, microfiche, microfilm, and the sort for information as it was the only source. I guess I got lucky were I was able to use the internet later on to do research papers that would have normally taken weeks to research only took hours, in some cases minutes before class. :) Knowing how I went through this, I somewhat pity the younger generations of this era as they have not nor will not be exposed to late hours of looking through books for info. or making that mad dash to the public library for a book that was just checked the night before you have to turn in a paper. Sad to say that some technology has very much helped to lazy up society at least in the United States. I will admit that having the internet to do research on was a massive time saver in my school career, but the knowledge of going to a book to look something up is something we all need to know how to do. Since the internet has gotten bigger and bigger I think the last time I was in a library was about 7 years ago. I guess times are changing weather we like it or not.
