I'd like the abiltity for a tab to be `chrooted` from the rest, or other `chrooted` tabs so that I could login twice under different accounts to my webmail on the same website, login twice under different accounts when developing a website.
I really should get around to that feature request...
.. and when you run out, you start employing idiots and they become management, then they rename the company to Micro* to reflect their micromanagement skillsets.
I'm scared, because this is the second time i've used this comment today and it's ontopic.

Now children, I'd like you to learn from this..
By not approaching the person directly and telling everyone else about their gammy leg, they will get hassled, abused, and rumours will start. Though, there's a good ending, eventually they will find out and get it fixed.
google.com - changed the Internet maybe. The WORLD? nah
Uh, hello. Did you miss the./ article just previously where google has become a verb. I'd call that changing the world. I'd call yours 1/2 a man summary.
Prepay *sweaty clap* Prepay *sweaty clap* Prepay...
I've helped start up a major internet cafe and has been running for six plus years. It's the place the national news uses for any "computer" related shots.
Two things brought success to the place, prepay (the on going success story) customers. Take the money and run, there is no need for debt recovering, when people split for "emergency reasons" they aren't leaving you in the lurch. Second is get some known gamers off the forum and employ them for a month or two, they'll pass the word on through the forums/chat channels and this'll really get people to know about your place. Then they will slowly want to game instead of work so you lay them off nicely and give them a "gold" status
I went through the slide show, because images > words. All I got for a first impression, was that you're just walking through a whole bunch of someones search results, or a web directory.
Kenetic energy, watches have been using this for years to keep them going. Why can't they use a bit more thinking, sell it for a bit more and it'll never run out of energy! It's not like you need to use it when you're not running. I'm sure the shock of weight being transfered and then hitting ground is enough to put a spark in your step.
Calculators, and you're now back in the early 90's in regards to maths. As long as there's a fundimental understanding of coding, (i.e. their BEDMAS in maths terms) I can't see why not use an IDE.
CMOS is a fine technology but there is nothing magical about it. Canon has proven that it is at least a match to CCD, but I don't get why a new 8mp CMOS sensor is any big deal (I'm not blaming Slashdot, I saw this story on CNN too). And I don't get why the fact that it's CMOS means it can automatically take 10 shots per second, either - that's a function of memory bandwidth and processing speed, not the sensor. And the processors and memory in cell phones are hardly anything to write home about.
I think this is mainly the long term problem of power source. There's been no real advancement (Li-Lo isn't that much of an advancement) in this sector for a very long time. And to be honest, I own a D2x and the battery life is awesome. I have my D70s which has a CCD sensor and that consumes batteries almost twice as fast.
Now back on topic, it doesn't matter at the moment the type of sensor they still have light range limitations greater than film. This is a hurdle that should be attempted with dual sensors (one attacking shadows and one attacking highlights) just for experimentation sakes. I'd be keen to see if someone's tried this or if there's a link on the interweb anywhere ?
"NTSC and PAL are analog video formats that are used in different parts of the world. I've never seen a device that could handle both."
Do you not play with your TV/Video/DVD player when you buy them new to see what they can do ? Every TV for the last 5 years (at least) can handle auto-switching between formats.
HDTV and Blu-Ray remind me of NTSC and PAL.. so what.. a few years later there will be dual format TV's/Players/Recorders. PAL and NTSC are both difference standards with different resolutions and encodings as well. I'd love to know what the hoo-haa is all about crying about HDTV and Blu-Ray being "mostly adopted", even if it was 50/50, that would reflect NTSC and PAL formats how they are today.
If a site has popups when I hit the first page, I dont go any further.. it's a desperate sign of revenue gathering. Who knows what else they would do to get money... *cough*
"Most users do one of two things when their PC runs out of hard disk space: they either add an additional drive or rely on external storage with a USB 2.0 or Firewire connection.... "
Most people just delete their porn. (seriously, dont mod me funny)

With this kind of comment it will be no time before the entire USA is due to be pixelled out.

If you mark the player properly, they wont be able to get the ball.
"US scientists have created a sensor that can "feel" the texture of objects to the same degree of sensitivity as a human fingertip."
Why do they limit it to the sensitivity of a human fingertip ?

I was expecting websites to be 3D, not "portals".

Two words, "Nikon D2x". (and whatever Canon's models use CMOS sensors).

If I was on the receiving end of that email, and you didn't steal the money, I'd fire you for lack of grammar.

All it seemed to be was Mac OSX vs Microsoft Windows.

Paste the URL of an ebay auction into this form, and it will create an iCal file to import into your new Gmail Calendar
That's because they're scared you'll outsource the videos..
