As soon as i finally decide to dish out $100 for a GBA SP, Nintendo goes and puts out a newer version. I'll probably refuse to buy this one too... until my SP gives out, and constant peer pressure and advertising convince me to pick one up. I bet I'll be out something closer to $200 this time, though. i just hope Nintendo is throwing some awesome keggers with all the money I'm giving them.
I'll bet the brine contains whole fleets of tiny pirate ships, full of little microbial pirates with the power to grow upwards of ten feet tall at will. Make your amends with god. Say your final goodbyes. We are all doomed when the giant martian pirates find out we've been sending robots after them.
"INUKTCHUK!"
Oh yeah! I can't wait to get the source code for an overly complex and highly dysfuncyional operating system! Maybe i could make a virus to cause it to mess up all the time... oh wait it already does. As I see it, only good things can come from this source code leak. If we are lucky some coder with too much time on his hands will get ahold of it and fix a few of the numerous bugs.
I'm not sure on the relevance of this, but it is theoretically possible to breed gorrilas with humans to create a super-strong, semi-intellegent army of gorrilapeople. These gorrilapeople wouldn't be able to reproduce, so we wouldn't have to worry about them breaking off from humanity and forming thier own civilization... and they may be just what we need to fight these mutant rats:)
I'm a long time MMO player, and I remember when they used to be fun for the sheer novelty. These days it seems like every software company is putting out one or two MMOs, trying to get thier own monthly cash cow. I suppose this could do something about the overpopulation on the servers of long running MMOs like EverQuest, but i assume it will only attract more players of low intellegence to the genre.
"Hey, got any good gear a mage can use?"
"Think you could power level me to 30 real quick?"
"Can you spare a few platinum for this sword i NEED?"
The whole Jedi thing is probably one of the few things SOE got anywhere close to right with this game. At least a jedi character could solo, most likely, and overcome the problems with the chaotic grouping and experience systems. But then why even try when you can just be an entertainer and get exp by being afk with your character in a tavern playing some choppy, glitched 6 second midi loop over and over?
Sorry, it looks like I posted on the wrong forum. That icon of a gameboy is misleading. /sigh

Anyone ever see maximum overdrive? I rest my case.
If only they could grow a few more nuerons on the brain of the avarege person we may be better off.
Hard to imagine that higher organisms would have evolved in a way that hinders survival in the environment which cause thier evolution...
