Although I don't care for the desktop search utility, it's hardly a valid complaint for privacy at a public facility. It just means the average Joe can now find what most with any limited knowledge of Windows can already see.
This is hardly worthy of news. It should be titled "Using Public Computers Leaves Users Open."
Education is your best tool. Invest in the user

as others have suggested and switch browsers to

Would you reveal who/what/where you are with all the rampant spam going on?:)
As soon as they are discovered, from whom do you think they will receive their first spam?
That'll definitely put a twist on the spam you receive huh?:)
At least the ones that were ignorant enough to
install the latest worm, spybot, etc should see
some relief not to mention the rest of us that
share the net with them.:)
All that was in good cynical humor...
I don't know if anyone still does this but I dub

I then convert it through my sound card to digital.
Albeit, it isn't that great of a quality but it's
enough for myself and those that are with me.
...that the TCO of MS Windows goes up.
With all the settlements, disputes and
infringement they have done, there are
no assurances that what they give you in
code is truly theirs.
Sounds like the same hogwash they have been
passing over to F/OSS solutions.
Didn't the US Army just give cease and desist orders to MS for giving out free Office suites to the men and women in service?
Talking about a violation of ethics no matter how you label it.
Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't this violate the confidentiality between doctor and patient? I guess when you sue a physician, confidentiality is out the window?
Sounds like it is time for patients to start a "This Doc is a Quack" web page.:)
I just have to wonder if it is a paid advertisement or not? I would gander that he might have stock in SCO?? While he glossed over the facts of the case, I could not help but hear the council of SCO during the recent court details arguing the "merits."
By the way, the judge is not a he but a she, Mr. Berlind [paragraph 30].
Being that the code leaked was Windows NT 4.0 and 2000 source codes, why are we seeing an issue with IE 5.0? Just goes to prove how close the browser was tied to the operating system.
On a cynical note, this only bolsters security through obscurity.:) Didn't they originally clame they had fewer bugs than open source competition? With some 10% code or more leaked, there is quite a bit more worry about their own peer-review process or should I say lack of.
Forgot to throw in the cynic tags. :)
I am no conspiracy theorist so I am glad to have the
facts before rushing to any judgement. Score 1 for research.

What constitutes price fixing?
Bah, my makeshift cynic tags didn't work.
Whew.. I almost thought I saw Microsoft and standard
used in the same sentence. That was a close one.

Either they are blatantly "blocking" some search terms
:)
or this is just clear evidence of a shoddy search
engine.
Perhaps Microsoft is capable of both.
The Mafia received full exercisable business

According to the article, they don't refund.
I'd like to see that hold up in court.

SigilGames.Com is hosted on a Linux server.
I suppose they will want to change that.
Not vulnerable to Denial of Service????
What the *&^%? Why didn't they put it up
instead of the other web server?
That was hilarious!!
