You know, it's wierd. ASP *is* a server side language, but 9 times out of 10, ASP pages look like shit. My guess is that ASP developers don't give a shit about browsers other than IE, and only test their layouts under that browser.
One thing I don't like about the stuff I install off of mozdev.org is that I have to reinstall everything whenever I upgrade mozilla. With plugins, I can at least use a symlink to keep the same ones installed throughout, but I don't know the equivalent trick with mozdev.org type stuff.
Ya, I had to explain the joke to my fellow watchers who are not addicted to internet news sites.:P
The funny thing is, the Simpsons is almost never comedically punctual, because the episodes are written some time in advance. They usually can't take advantage of breaking news stories until a few weeks later, but in this case, it seems as though they made the switch at the last minute.
Spock: Ahh, Mr. Scott, I understand you're having difficulty with the warp drive. How much time do you require for repair? Scotty: There's nothing wrong with the bloody thing! Spock: Mr. Scott, if we return to Spacedock, the assassins will surely find a way to dispose of their incriminating footwear, and we will never see the captain, or Dr. McCoy, alive again Scotty: Could take weeks, sir Spock: Thank you, Mr. Scott
Speaking of Agent Smith, did you notice this? According to the caption, he can now replicate himself. That should make for some juicy action sequences.
Can anyone else not stand Jet Li? Sure he moves fast, but so could, say, Bruce Lee. And you know what else Bruce Lee could do? SPEAK ENGLISH FUCKING INTELLIGIBLY. It's painful for me to hear Li attempt English. (It is equally bad with Jackie Chan, but at least he's never trying to be serious.)
Seriously though, this time around, I didnt even try for 12:01 tickets... maybe I'm just not as excited about ep2 as I was for ep1. Oh well... opening night on a HUGE screen is still good enough.:)
I thought my damn crossover plugin was incompatible or something when I saw nothing but blackness with audio...

They invinted tabs and gestures. Mozilla has coppied these, though.
If you want to be specific, both Opera and Mozilla copied those ideas from others.
This is kind of a let-down... To think that the structures of the universe need PR-team doctoring to become (more) beautiful is kind of disappointing.
Thanks Lucas for making spoilers readily available before the film is even released.
The cash cow ceases for no one!
I hate the word "mishap." It always looks like the 'sh' should be pronounced (as in 'shit').
As far as I could tell, that thing was largely useless, but there seems to be a lot of support for it in the bug report. I don't get it...

D'oh!
/me hits himself in the face with a shovel.
Sorry, Microsoft is just playing the game in this case:
Nintendo buys Retro Studios
Sony buys (into) Square
Sony buys (into) Rare
Buying a development house to gain exclusives does not seem to be ground-breaking news.
Some other quotes from that site: The Simpsons is awesome; CNN sucks; Friends sucks; When Animals attack 32 is great.
Anything you run off PostgreSQL could be ported to Oracle, but you'd probably be a dummy to do so. The reverse is rarely true (except the dummy part).
When I'm done parsing this, I'll let you know.
I haven't read his other works, but if they are anything like Paladin of the Lost Hour, then I'm a fan of Harlan Ellison.

What a great movie. In my top 5, for sure.
But if Windows is modular, we can replace the copy protection / serial activation with our own modules, right?
Yes! I'll make my serial number 12345, the same as on my luggage.
I thought those were deleted explitives, that I was mentally putting back in. Makes it pretty funny...

That's amazing. I thought the episode last night was very well written, and hilarious. One of the best this season, to be sure.
My favorite exchange:
Spock: Ahh, Mr. Scott, I understand you're having difficulty with the warp drive. How much time do you require for repair?
Scotty: There's nothing wrong with the bloody thing!
Spock: Mr. Scott, if we return to Spacedock, the assassins will surely find a way to dispose of their incriminating footwear, and we will never see the captain, or Dr. McCoy, alive again

Spock: Thank you, Mr. Scott
(Star Trek VI)
Hilarious everytime!
That's interesting. Captain Kirk inspired me to be a captain, but I have yet to score with any alien females.
You are correct, sir.
