Don't give me the "average gamer is 28 years" shit, that's were most people stop playing games, and start worrying about families and mortgages Nah, it is true that we old farts worry about such things, but still play games. Not as often, or as long (as with other "activities") unfortunately. When the kids get older, we game with them!!
It's a good thing I still demand my paychecks printed on a piece of paper in an envelope I can carry to the bank myself.
My question would be if it isnt handling payroll/hr as it should be, Is what printed out on a paper check what it should be? The company that does our payroll uses peoplesoft and I check the direct deposit statement very carefully every pay period.
Also, I would think that any additional expense of the cable company to put this in place (system upgrades, development etc) would be approved by the local board of utilities to pass through as a rate change. There might be some legislative delay in when those higher rates might come into effect, but we (ie subscribers) will wind up paying the same, or more.

And once you do find one (with or without the help of bounty hunters), what then? Im sure law enforcement will really care. Maybe the politicians will push for an example or two, but this will have no real impact.
Im old(er)---didn't Montalban do the Chrysler Cordoba (rich Corinthian leather!)commercial and Sergio Franci sing the Volare jingle for the plymouth? Im not sure about the Volare details, but Im 99% sure Ricardo didnt sing!
In the movie (and the book), Gandalf told a moth to fetch Gwaihir.
I dont recall the moth in the book. IIRC, when Gandalf was sent to Orthanc by Radagast (who was duped into tricking Gandalf by Saruman), he asked Radagast to send messages to Orthanc via birds, eagles, etc. Gandalf happened to catch Gwaihir on his way to deliver a message.
It benefits the employer (except for the cash flow hit of paying bonuses at one time). Increases to base pay result in incrementally higher increases every year, higher employer taxes and higher premiums that are calculated from base pay (life insurance, for example).
Hahahaha! good ol' zoom. Mine didnt even time to overheat. I plugged it in and 10 seconds later BOOM! Sparks and flame shoot out the back and huge scorch marks on the top of the modem case. I return it to the store and tell the associate what happened. I could tell he didnt believe me until he opened the box. The smoke/ozone smell quickly permeated the area and the scorch marks told the whole story. They gave me another one with no questions. To be fair. The replacement worked fine for several years until I gave it away.

You have my sympathies, and I appreciate the idea for when my inlaws next visit.
Some of it might turn out to be pretty good. If I get the right people involved, it could be interesting.
Unfortunately, this should have happened for eps I II and III.

Does anyone really think that politicians act in anyone's interest but their own?
IIRC Starbucks are all corporate owned; they do not franchise.

Conspiracy theory is a religion to the "conspiracy minded". Facts will never get in the way of faith.
