You must find putting everyone in your boxes pretty easy.
When I was a young man my insurance company found it very profitable to box me up in their stereotypes. I never received a refund for not getting any tickets like the stereotype depicted.
Wow, I just googled the guy and he really does look like Dr. McCoy although after a few seconds of wow I came to a problem - what if the voice is WAY off?
I just went to Pandora's website and entered William Shatner as my starting artist and I got Scott Walker, Ulysses, and shocking as it may seem William Shatner. I got a kick out of their description of William Shatner's music though:-)
The guy who takes as much as he can carry and calls his friends is a dick, but a criminal?
I do agree with you on that. My original post was just pointing out that it wasn't overly funny on the kids part. But as others have posted, if a bunch of people visit said website because of interest thats great. But what I was refering to is if some ill-minded person decided to refresh my site a zillion times just out of meaness I'd be upset. Not so upset to ever consider the law, but upset enough to try and ban his IP:)
I used freeshell for ages but I needed an inexpensive mySQL server as I'm too lazy to change HTML files, upload, check, etc. Mediawiki is totally sweet, I can edit in my browser from anywhere, upload a picture if needed (again, from the browser). When school starts again collaboration of projects will be a lot easier.
I will be moving back to freeshell though once they update their PHP server to 4.4.1

My personal website gets charged strictly for bandwidth and storage. If someone had a grudge against me and did this it would COST rather then just slow it down.
Um- I think you need to be a bit less security concious,
Firewall has always been disabled. Also disabled SPI Firewall
Your access point is a 2nd NAT router. Yes
It needs to be within the same subnet as the rest of your system. Always has been. 192.168.0.xxx 255.255.255.0
You need to open up so that no TCP/UDP ports are filtered. Its just a basic NAT, no firewall. But EchoLink ports are forwarded to a specific machine, but besides that nothing special.
In addition to that, you'd probably need all the computers for the LAN party in the DMZ.
Both Netgears I purchased only allow me to DMZ one machine
I bought a MR814 V3 & WGR614 V4 Netgear to play UT2004 wirelessly with my wired server. *cough* to Say the least its not pleasant with LAN parties on WLAN cards.
For some odd reason I can't share the LAN wirelessly, only the gateway/NAT (internet) on the WAN port. Can't even ping any LAN connected computers while connected wirelessly, but loads slashdot like a charm though.
So, whats this wireless resource sharing everybody speaks of?
Even on their website they don't have anything regarding Klingon Academy but it was an awesome game. At startup it says Interplay so they obviously did quite a bit of work on it.
That's the most sensible thing I've ever heard.

Appears this might just be a United States thing.

Forget that thought.
After even more googling I find the equipment costs more then my freakin' car!
Unless you want a job as a professional skydiver, that is..
I know that was modded funny but.....
Just about finished school and not certain what career to take and after a quick google it looks interesting.
Wouldn't a move like this greatly help AMD's image?
;)
If its good enough for Microsoft, its good enough for us, right boss?
Never been much into stocks, but right about now something tells me to buy.

On that review they say it takes 85W!
Man, my halogen lamp on low setting takes more then that thing.
Turn off the monitor and it should make a good webserver off a UPS for quite some time.
Same thing for MPEG-2 and MPEG-4. MPEG-4 is actually somewhat worse, as there's fees on the media too per disc and per stream per hour for streaming).
Isn't XVID codec an ISO MPEG-4 compliant video codec?

These were students, not telecom employees.
