  3. Backup OEM data and reinstall on An Open Letter To PC Makers: Ditch Bloatware, Now! · · Score: 1

I've used the method of backing up the OEM data and reinstalling since WinXP. It has gotten a bit more complicated over the years after Vista and Windows 7 were released but is still the best method.

  4. I've seen this before on Sony Planning Serial Keys For PS3 Games? · · Score: 1

This will lead to a PS3 warez scene not unlike PC warez scene: cracked executables already included in downloadable iso-images.

  5. Geohot's identity on Sony Files Lawsuit Against PS3 Hacker GeoHot · · Score: 1

I don't understand why geohot, US citizen, posted all this information with his real name known to everyone? I would thought that he is aware of the DMCA.

    I'll vote for NOLF 1 & 2 as well.

  19. Xen and EC2 on Researcher Releases Hardened OS "Qubes"; Xen Hits 4.0 · · Score: 1

I've had a lot of problems with EC2 that upgrading to at least 3.3 would
fix. I just hope Amazon would start thinking about upgrading EC2 or migrate
it from Xen as they seem to have gotten stuck with 3.1 and I've seen
nothing that indicates there's going to be an upgrade.
