I just finished work on a website. I decided to make it completely XHTML and CSS compliant. And to my shock and horror... it rendered perfectly in every browser I tried! (note: did not and will not try IE) So from now on, I'm definitely coding to the standards.
The Nintendo Wii's video card does support vertex and pixel shaders. It just doesn't support really really advanced vertex and pixel shaders. Did you see the preview for Super Smash Brothers Brawl?
If the fusion reaction containment fails, the reaction quickly stops, without serious damage to the reactor and without any abnormal leakage of radioactive material. A fusion reactor can't "melt down".
Unfortunately, like most reactors, it will collapse into a pile of rubble after exactly 50 years. Which is why I prefer to use hydroelectric power...
