I have to agree. The battle system should have been opened up fully within the first hour or so, would have made the game so much better. Oddly, I have a friend who swears the game was perfect in pace, and that keeping it locked helped ease the player into it. I've never gotten an explanation from him as to why that is.
you do realize he increased NASA's budget, right? He was also in favor of COTS, which gives us more vehicles for less money then the shuttles ever could.
Meanwhile, the DOD gets another 700 billion or so. The 'we don't have the money for it!' argument doesn't fly so long as the DOD enjoys that much without issue.
Show me a HTPC maker who is willing to sell a product that will not change spec wise for 5+ years, has a standard development library, and offers the sort of developer assistance consoles do.
No, this is bad for customers all around. This means no ports of popular games on other platforms. This means burdening developers with multi-platform, simultaneous releases if they ever, maybe, intend on releasing on the Xbox. This prevents developers from taking advantage of features that might only be found on other platforms for those versions of the game.
MS is trying to make it so any other platform cannot have any exclusive content. It was force the 360 to be the lead platform for any and all games.
Judging by the amount of self-righteous pirates I know, I think a lot of folks object to paying anything for a game period. Ditto for other types of software or digital items.
It's a game console, sold with a specific set of functions, and features. Most people do not expect it to do anything more than advertised. We aren't fighting a war, because we are perfectly happy with the device as is. Not every device one buys needs to be general purpose device.
Not all liberals are opposed to all wars, just the ones we find unjust. In this case, you had a bunch of rebels who asked for NATO's help, and got it, in a very controlled, un-escalated form. No boots on the ground, no skyrocketing costs, no casualties, etc. It's almost a police action. Only the most pacifistic of liberals have a problem with it. Now, the conservatives did, but that was because they hate any situation where Obama can get a foreign policy victory.
games come on a new format, but the other slot has always just been labeled 'memory card'. I don't know if they have ever said what format it would be. I'm hoping ether sd cards or memory sticks. Given they want to have downloadable games, i'm thinking SD cards, as they woudl be the cheapest to support per gb.
They care about preventing piracy. Otherwise, the ps3 was the most open of any of the hardware this gen, with lots of standardized support (usb, bluetooth, sata hdd's). The PSV does support the PlayStation suite stuff, which is an android development framework in the works, so in theory you could make homebrew games that way.
so instead of buying a portable game console, you'll buy a more expensive phone, then a ton of add ons that will probably cost a lot as well, and never be fully supported by games?
True, but the argument is more about casual gamers, who bought Ds's to play brain age style games, to play on the way to work/waiting for dinner to finish/etc. Nintendo heavily catered to that market the last few years, and it's the market that smartphone games basically took over.

what was NASA's Budget pre-Obama? Ok, now what is it now? I think you now know why you are full of shiat.

Obama is open borders? Aren't deportations and enforcement actually up today versus when bush was in office?
because congress gets to dictate who NASA has to build with, and they want their precious tax kickbacks.
There is no such thing as the moon.
Really? Show me where Sony has said that if you offer any exclusive content on the 360/wii you can't publish on their console. I'll wait.
Right now just PSN, although PlayStation Suite is on the way.

Except there is nothing to prevent a new console maker from offering a product. Sony entered into the market in the 90's, and MS in the 00's.
Not really, Sony has in fact supported smaller studios before, Look at Everyday shooter and sound shapes for example.
Sony only cares if your mods let you pirate content. Otherwise, they have always been cool with what you do.
NPD only covers the US you know.
Pulling out the 'I was just joking!' defense eh? Rush would be proud.

You know whats funny, and rather dickish? One of the swag items CCP gave out at PAX was a plastic monocle.

In the Us, most carriers won't sell you a smart phone without a data plan.
