umm how are they gonna get out of the car??? look at the picture. the doors swing up? so do i shut off the car and roll it into the parking spot? or was this designed to only be parallel parkable?
we better hope no one from slashdot commits a high profile murder 'cause then law enforcement will ask that all website related to Linux and anti-Microsoft ways and conspiracy theories be taken down/blocked because only a murderer would be into high technology, equal rights and the belief that only people who publish their source code have nothing to hide.
how come for every new technology that comes out that is suppose to "secure" us i can think of a way it can be used "malicously"
ex. I write YourDoom.A and i write it using this new code morphing obfuscator. how exactly are Anti-virus programs 1. suppose to remove this? 2. identify this?
Given the numberous amount of VB/Outlook bugs and considering that.NET is so "young" can't you see this used for creating a perpetual virus that can't be removed? you wouldn't even be able to ID the bug that caused this to virus to run itself.
i like this from their website. i found it quite humorous. One Hasbro(R) to rule them all
One Hasbro(R) to find them.
One Hasbro(R) to bring them all
And in the darkness bind them

no im not afraid. as for the bass instructor thing i do follow the "those who can't teach" i know whats required for me to "break" into "industry" i just don't want to/can't fulfill the requirement. however if i can help those who want to learn get a jump start heck i'm willing to help out.
forgive the OT example but would trust a coder with only java experience to be able to debug memory management issues with C++?
people learn music for a variety of reasons 1. hobby 2. forced to by parents 3. immitate rock idol 4. money
if your in it for 4 though you better learn to tune your guitar properly and sight read and better get your ear trained otherwise you will go no where.
If you let your students get away with tuning with digital tuners you are doing them no good. You should take the bass out of their hands, manually de-tune it and force them to tune it by ear before every lesson you give. See how dependant they are on the digital tuner after 5 lessons.
and i meet students all the time that don't want to learn to tune because of digital tuners. i would imagine how "bad" music would sound when they can figure out they can just press a button to retune their guitar. people listen. you ear tune to train your ear.
man i wish you god modded funny. well i've know him for 10 years. and except for the first year i knew him i've never know him to be without a girlfriend for longer then 3 weeks. and thats not to say he bounces between girls either. in that time i know he had a 1 year, 2 years, and 5 year relationship. didn't keep track of his GFs while i was in college though.
For example: X-Files, Beavis and Butthead Do America, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm And don't forget all the children's shows: Transformers the Movie, GI Joe the Movie, Masters of the Universe, Pokemon, Power Rangers, Ducktales(!), Rugrats...
X-files was already on way down. never watched beavis and butthead. they are making a new batman cartoon. plus they never really got rid of the batman IP so no. transformers had 2 more seasons after movie. GI Joe had 2 more seasons after movie, arguably best eps ever for GI Joe. He-man? dude it was live action what did you expect? pokemon. i caught them all damn it! power rangers is still on and as good/bad as it always was maybe you just outgrew it and DuckTales was the shiznit! i still remember being confused about weather gizmo-duck and Buba were in the same time line or were they seperate time lines. i never watched Rugrats.

Some people have friends or relatives who do 4, should they just start ignoring them?
respond to the email they forwarded you asking very nicely not to send you these emails. unless of course they are playboy bunnies.
one friend got so bad about sending me these emails i set up eudora to copy the message back to him 100 times before he stopped sending me email like this.
To solve #1 just keep a dummy free email account used solely for the purpose of verifying registration to websites such as slashdot.
which is what i do.
ohh i forgot to add. following my own instructions i haven't gotten a spam in 6 months. and in the last 3 years i've gotten maybe 1 spam/week on the average.
1. don't sign up on any page that requires you email address to verify *cough*like this one *cough*
2. don't use free email services hotmail etc. 3. don't use AOL 4. don't let anyone have your address that forwards messages like "cute bunny pic" or "funny anti-geek joke" etc. 5. don't post your email anywhere. 6. don't sign up for majordomo lists.
i use opera every day for my web browsing.
that said i will they would get off their arses and make a 7.23 client for OSX. the only version for MAC is like 2 years old.
as much as i love and use opera i will not pay for it until the MAC client is on par with the Windows Client

i prefer the word exclusive to mean "the console develop paid us money to make our game only work on their system for some period of time X"
otherwise you are right. the only truely exclusives are from the console devs themselves.
Ex.
Halo on Xbox
Mario on GC
EverQuest??? on PS2
does Sony even have an exclusive title for PS2?

why does the chipmaker need to protect us from microsoft buffer overflow errors? why can't they just double check their code?
this premod-ed -1 flamebait

a buddy of mine wrote a song with HIS telephone number in it. then he would sing it out at club and other places hoping chicks would call him.
i found the whole endevor quite humorous
so how would this be different from the Mac/Linux/Windows/VxWorks/IE/Mozilla/Opera zealots out there already?

so when is there gonna be a section for anime/tv/movies?
i would describe this in the same manor i would describe there being few waitors.

OK? we invented WMD in Iraq?
but you do bring up an interesting question.
how come we can find signs of water on a planet several million miles away but we can't find signs of WMD on a country several thousand miles away?
