I happen to believe both are possible. A creation usually comes from some previous substance and is formed into the final product. Just as a sculptor takes clay and creates a statue. Who is to say that God did not wait around for a few million years until the universe fell into place where he could create the heavens and the earth?
The only true religion has to accept all truth, so they must accept science, but they can still believe that science does not understand some things and that it will eventually prove them right.
The reason he was modded a troll was because some people followed the link and received an unwanted spoiler of the new harry potter book listing someone who died and who the half blood prince is. The link is a troll and no better than a goatse.
"yet another thing to notice is that there isn't a single cross in those mormon temples. not one!"
To be fair enough the Bible never actually makes mention that a cross should be the symbol for his church. To that end we believe that Jesus lives and we look past his death and at the resurrection.
Our not having crosses in our churches or temples has nothing to do with wheather or not we are christians, meaning christ followers; so that argument is null.
It is funny how so many people seem to worship this execution device and place this symbol so high and designate as the only mark that christians should be known by.
Your other statements are interesting, I will have to look into them, but the last one is probably a large misunderstanding. In sectarian belief you have to accept Jesus as your saviour in order to be save. So you are saving yourself by accepting Jesus. When you bring another unto Christ you have helped save them, therefore being saviours ourselves, through Jesus Christ. I would think that anybody could see it in that sense.
But what you are missing is the fact that ++c increments c first before all the other operations take place. Here is the program that I used to prove my concept:
#include <iostream>
using std::cout; using std::endl;
int main(){ for(int i=0;i<5;i++){ int c=i; c+=c++ + ++c; cout<<c<<endl; } }
The output being:
4 7 10 13 16
I learned about this in my beginning C class at a community college.
I've been typing in Dvorak for about a year and am highly found of Vim. I often use a lot of their shortcuts all the time, it doesn't take too much getting used to, it's just relearning the shortcuts at a much higher pace than when you originally learned them.
All in all I'm happy for the switch, not only do I type more fluently, but it also keeps people off my computer.
I just ran some quick searches and figured out that it is the first result from www.google.co.uk when ran as traffic estimate. But when run on the US servers at www.google.com I fail to find it except if I ad adwords to the search terms.

I have an AMD Opteron with 2GB of RAM. I have recomplied kde in less than two hours. I can't recall the exact amount of time right now, but I know it is a lot less than my home system that I usually try to save for recompiling at night or when I'm at work.
I think what they were trying to get across was that, in this industry, the average is much higher than what they found in the Linux kernel. If Microsoft went with the industry average on bugs then in a ratio of bugs/line of code, Linux beats them with having only 985 bugs compared to what they/should/ expect to have, around 140,000, for that many lines of code.
I think they have some work to do ...

I tried clicking on my home state of Washington. At least it gave me the error fast.
Just as we don't have oil refineries in every city, I think a solution to that may be shipping the H2 rather than the H2O. Seems to me that you could get a better shipping cost per usable fuel rate like that.
All we need is more ways to shoot missiles. Hey maybe we could sell them to two combating countries so they can take each other out and then we can go invade them for having weapons of mass destruction.
The storage isn't the biggest reason why I love gmail so much, it's the features that it brings with it. The ability to search through my mail, the technique of orginization using labels, the conversations being kept together and easy to read. Doing active development and being active on mailing lists gets a lot easier when I can click on a conversation, read the last six emails in that thread and get up to speed on what the problem is. Hotmail may go to 2GB, but that's nothing without all the other features that gmail offers.

Thirth? I believe this should be 1/1,333rd.

WARNING, the above link is a spoiler for the new Harry Potter book, not a refrigerator.

Actually, having a pre condition operator it would more likely be, c=(c+1)+((c+1)+1)+(c+1)
Maybe he thought you ment to post Vc--

Or we could take the same approuch as the $20 bills and just microwave them to disable the RFID.
Although this might encumber the disc a little.
I'm worried about GPLv1984 myself.
I work with two seventeen inch monitors at work and have the same setup with my computer at home and have often wondered the same.
I'm curious if DHL, the delivery company, may be funding this. IIRC they did have talk about using wormholes to delivery packages faster.
But I type in Dvorak you insensitive clod!

you mean that SCO has been lying to us?
while I'm downloading with the torrent I'm get around 200KB/s and still going up. Now I've hit the 300KB/s mark.

Thanks for that correction. It was a majority in the electoral college, but I was talking about the popular and maid the incorrect comparison. Thanks.
