tv broke a couple of years ago and couldn't find a compelling reason to replace it. since then, started watching most programming online, or through "series DVDs" from netflix. recently, decided to buy a small LCD tv with DVD player built in.
the only thing i find myself watching on it, other than DVDs, is football. till i can get live sports online, there's a place for TV....although, in the years without a TV, the local pub filled that need.
also still on 1.0.2 and curious what this update will offer. presently, i can wireless sync both iTunes and a Documents folder from my linux box....if this SDK doesn't allow that, i may stick with what i have. very very curious.
because fox scheduled it so that the second football game inevitably ran into the first half...then the post game....so you'd get about 5-10 minutes of futurama, followed by a rerun of "king of the hill."
don't get me wrong, i'm all for 2 games on sunday, but schedule you're rerun to get preempted, not the new material
you also have the right to ask the genius selling you the phone about this stuff....or read it on the internet.....or, failing all of that, return it within 15 days.
i honestly think the only reason they released this for windows was to allow people to test their iPhone apps without buying a mac. who cares that there's one more browser for windows. as has be stated ad nauseum it doesn't bring that much to the table for browsing; "private[porn] mode" and slightly faster rendering. a few people may try it, but if you haven't switched from IE yet, this isn't going to be the thing that gets you to
try it again. the live cd is the install cd now. you probably had 5.10 or earlier, right? 6.04 was when it started getting better and now it's quite good.
And that energy, when amortized over 6,578,462,507 people approaches zero, a fact that copyright fanatics like to ignore.
are you suggesting that all 6,578,462,507 pay a little bit towards every movie/cd/tv show/book/research project? even if distribution is free, or close enough to it, there are production costs on these things which need to be recouped.
incidentally, i do agree about the parasitic middlemen.
you went camping in NJ? really? my wife told me they did when she was a kid, but i thought it was one of those childhood memories that's not quite accurate.

What really would have been innovative is a way to make the average American car more efficient
make it smaller. lots smaller.
as anyone whose spent any amount of time on any jersey road can tell you, a bunch of cars sitting at a dead stop don't generate much wind.

gotcha....i assumed that he had, well, "god" rights.
but i suppose those rights would allow him to create such a situation.....
could god create a file so locked down that even he couldn't modify it? will now replace the "large rock" zen question.
why did god include the "!"?
i think sending a bit of the signal from the mic to the ear piece, like they did on regular phones, would do this better.....and god i wish they would
