    The question isn't whether they are the new trend but whether they should be the new trend. If vertical mice are really better and more comfortable for the user, then it absolutely should be a trend because it will help people. If, on the gripping hand, the mice are just something new and funky, then this should not be a trend.

    This is very interesting news after Bush just got done saying how great the new patriot act is. It looks to me that our own security got lost while we were busy questioning the integrity of others. Between the roving wire-taps and the judge-less warrants, I think I deserve to know that the people taking away my information can keep it safe from others who would want to take it away.

    i might get modded down for this but it needs to be said.

    it's not about whether robots or humans are used. it's about the hubble being a piece of crap that needs to be replaced in order for us to move forward. the hubble is obsolete because of the fact that there are cheaper and better telescope projects out there that should be initiated. some of those programs are mentioned here on /. all the time!

    it's a wonder that we haven't listened to the independant experts and just thrownit out to lagrange point to work as long as it can.

    i really feel like NASA needs to let this one die so we can move forward.
