    - stop secretly (or recently overtly) overthrowing other peoples governments (theres about 60 years for you to say sorry for currently)
    - no sanctions against "misbehavior" (the very fact that americans are so arrogant to think they can tell people how to behave underlines this all. why can't iran have nuclear power again? why cant most countries legalize drugs?)
    - stop acting like usa corporations write the worlds laws
    - do not attempt in any way to be the worlds police or to think you know "better" for another country.

Its pretty simple. No ones saying don't trade with people, but speaking as a canadian, learn to trade fucking fairly. The US doesnt even follow its own trade body rulings. You can look up the history of softwood lumber or sugar cane to see the kind of "economy" and "trade" the USA wants.

Nope. Marketing just makes people lazy consumers by using propaganda techniques instead of rational and researched information. It also has a habit of lacing lies into "research" in the most insidious of ways. The marketers that I know think that the perfection of advertising is where you dont know your being advertised to. This is more commonly known as LIES, and just because you build an industry up around it doesn't make it any more moral.

The entire marketing industry are scamers, exploiters and wastes of flesh. Just the other day at a friends house who had TV, I saw a little girl sharing chicken mcnuggets with her tea party of stuffed animals. If that doesnt turn your stomach into a bile sac of vomiting rage, you're probably in marketing.

  5. I was going to say a similar thing, but the difference is that I dont allow anyone else to see my banking information. Its pretty much just used by and for me. Facebook is designed to network whatever you put on there, unlike a bank. I dont think you should have any expectation of privacy on a social networking site. Then again, I really dont understand the need to be in the spotlight or see the usefulness of knowing what some person I went to highschool with is having for dinner.

If you want to broadcast your inane and pointless life to the world, I would think you would be happy to get the stalkers and various other social "benefits" that come with that. Where im from, (the 80s) you dont use your real name online... EVER. That sort of conditioning is whats missing from todays myfaces and reality tubes.

I can't believe that people are *still* protecting the American government (note I'm not talking about their citizens) after all the crap they've pulled during the last two decades. Just because the world media has tuned into the USA in the last five years doesn't mean this story came out of the blue. America has been funding and training terrorist groups and publicly boasting about it for over 40 years now. We've been waiting for their population to overthrow the judeofascist government for years yet that hasn't happened either. Just take a look at the kind of things coming out of their government-controlled media: http://www.cnn.com/

Yes, most Americans dislike their government but no this won't be happening anytime soon. In the meantime, thousands upon thousands of people die every year because of direct funding by the Americans to terrorists. Ironically most of the victims are religious.

If you want to avoid war with America then you should be in favor of diplomatic action to prevent them from using nuclear weapons which could be a pretext for such a war. By preventing economic sanctions from going through you leave the world no choice but turn to the military option. Also it is worth noting that we've held toothless diplomatic talk with America for decades now and that didn't work (if anything, their government got more radical). They need to feel the heat for there to be any change.

Now, on the XP cd, if something like core windows files were corrupted, you could just repair. Not vista. They have removed many of the tools from vista and replaced them with a "automagically fix all" button. Unsurprisingly this doesnt do anything. If I remember correctly, you cannot even reinstall over top, a tried and true troubleshooting technique all the way back to win95. So I had a broken vista for months, and anytime it was restarted it would bluescreen 9 times and then the 10th time boot up flawlessly. I suspected a bad driver or failed software install (both being in abundance on this platform) but I was never able to track down exactly what was going on.

I have since reinstalled, but its a PITA to get all the stupid little vista tweaks re applied. Just so I can for instance, copy files from one drive to another without horrible lag. After using vista for aprox 1 year, my opinion is its still not ready for the desktop.

Im not american, so maybe you can explain to me how having a firearm makes you more "free". Liberty comes from always being in fear of attack?, necessitating a constant "security blanket" protection from that fear? - i just dont get it. But maybe you chose to ignore the fear, and redefine weaponry as giving you a better control over the situation? Wouldn't it just become the ones with the most powerful weapons are the ones who are the most free?

Lets not even go into the fact that if the government wants you in chains, a hundred guns wont stop them.

I actually would love to own a firearm in canada, because they probably do make you feel more safe and in control, but I dont get how they make you more free. Can you explain this elementary reasoning that non americans might not see as so elementary?
