Lag? Lines? What server are you on? I hardly ever get lines or lag and i play every day on Bleeding Hollow. They say that that server is even one of the most packed pvp servers out there...
occasionally i have a line of no more than 5 minutes, which is a good time to go to the kitchen and get a drink or something. They need to deal witht the auction house lag, and around iron forge is pretty bad, but thats where the most people are.
I don't know why all these fanboys who probably play 24x7 get off having so much whiney bitching. I get home from work, play for maybe 4 hours and its always an enjoyable experience.
I bet its like 1% of the total players creating 95% of the fourm noise. Why do you people need to bitch like this? Its a really fun game! some ppl are just never happy i guess.

Not that i've ever handled stolen property but if I were in that situation, i would boot it up SANS network, just to see that it worked - look for interesting docs - and then whipe it.
If your dumb enough to plug a stolen laptop onto the net without formatting it, you have no business stealing laptops in the first place. This also goes for trying to sell whole laptops on ebay. Im pretty sure you could get away with parts.
I believe toshiba reserves the first few years where they will not even service your laptop without running the serial numbers. thats your best defense.

as long as they make PC's that can work or game at the switch of a button there will be a demand to make games for them. I actually think you have it backwards. I predict that the console will become obsolete. One day your going to have a console come out that has all the functions of a PC, streamlined together in the ease of use console format. Once the differences between PC's and consoles reach this point, you will have the non techs buying the 3 year throw away consoles and the hardcore gamers buying upgradeable PC's.
This is already happening - whats a PC? a hdd, cd, gfx card, NIC, sound, proc, mobo and ram. the xbox has all these things.
