I will make the argument these devices are mostly tools and professional quality ones should be ordered loaded with CPU & RAM that works on the factory warranty & the hard drives can still be easily changed out. Our time is worth a decent amount of $s per hour, after all, and we do NOT have unlimited time.
A professional laptop recently seems to retain its usefulness for at least 3 years, so these laptops remain functional for a long enough time to justify ordering them loaded with options to make our life and work easier.

It shows the juvenile psychological statement implying that some GOD created this law and we have to see what comes down from the "Mount" to know what it is. And God oh God, why did you not warn us ahead of time what we were really getting, in the monumental botch that has ensued?
Once a political party gets in power in WDC, the ONLY thing that counts is silencing their foes so they STAY in power. That means every form of manipulation Pravda would use in the cold ware and worse, plus the manipulative power of the House and Senate leaders in pursuing, you guessed it, ULTIMATE POWER to pass anything they like, regardless of iF a majority of citizens are/were against it.

For many coastlines, how about deep ocean water currents? Relatively low tech, w/no surface effects. Easy to pull up and service. Getting better efficiencies on superconducting transmission lines for longer distances. Massive amount of power in those sub-surface rivers.
