The problem is that there are many ballots that are misused. Maybe provisional ballots wrongly cast, ballots with two votes for the same office, etc.
That is what they want to review.
The better word the recount would be to make new judgement calls. Should this vote count? What about this, it seems like candidate x is more filled out for this office than candidate y (since they are both filled in). Etc.
So, more recounts beyond this point would hand the election over to lawyers. So whichever laywer gives the best arguments wins the election for his candidate.

Man, I really hope you don't have kids. They're just kids, man.
"Fun" is not socially constructed. Toys have existed in one form or another throughout history. If kids were too poor to afford any toys, then they sang (for example this).
Or played some sort of game.
    Or played with a dog.
Or just run around and chase each other.
Kids need this early time in life to develop everyday skills that we take for granted, especially social skills. Even though games may not have the tangiable benefit that you are looking for, they do provide something useful for kids. The skill that they learn at this time through games is what allows them to provide the useful benefits for society they will use later as adults that you want them to produce as kids.

The general theme drawn by this website isn't that he makes alot of mistakes, it is that he makes alot of little lies and deceptions concerning Kerry's being down to earth. Kerry is not in touch with the average guy who watches sports, and this is what this website attempts to say, and it seems to provide quite a bit of evidence. John Kerry couldn't care less about the Red Sox, but he pretends he does.

    1) They meddle with the elections. If a Kerry supporter sees this, it may discourage him to actually go and vote, because "awww... this scientific poll says that Kerry already lost, I don't even need to vote"
    2) How can a poll really claim to be scientific when it gives 100% chance to any canditate for a state? Sure, its pretty safe to assume that Kerry will win CA, or Bush TX, but you really never know what could happen in a situation like this. But why would the answer be to elect Kerry?
I am not a liar. However, sometimes, I am tempted to lie about big things.
Looking over the football fans for truth site, there are many things that are so tiny and insignificant things that Kerry lies about:
    - Knowing baseball scores.
    - Being 30 yards from Buckner in '86.
    - Running in the Boston Marathon.
If someone has no problem lying about the dumbest, smallest, most insignificant things like that, how do you think that he will not lie when it comes to the big things.
This man is as much a liar as Bush, if not more. If you want a demogogue, elect Kerry. If not, there are plenty of other good options out there.
