Yeah...
But before the internet adolescent girls didn't make amateur porno on their webcams, phonecams, digicams and got exposed to porn in such an easy way. (even get encouraged to engage therein by horny boys.)
I remember times where the word "sex" was taboo on tv. Put on any R&B music-clip or anything now really.. it's quite a contrast.
I find it disturbing by the high amount of young girls whoring themselves. It's a shift of "morality" or awareness.
General Media works simular as how they describe the pron works: "If you just keep looking there'll be that image that's just right. But the more you look, the less you get turned on by the stuff you did before. So, you have to search harder."
The gist of it is that "Google Pages Is Not For You." It's for your mom;)
So you not only have summarized TFA FOR me - so I don't have to RTFA - AND you're saying it's nothing for anyone but a sporadic user... Why are you wasting space on slasdot?
I get paid plenty to use my brain; I'm a software engineer and my employer depends on me to run his business and will depend in the future on my support and whatever my brain produced.
He cannot "own" the things I learn and come up with during the time of the project.
He'll own the software I'm writing for him, but our contract doesn't state he "owns" the techniques I come up with for him to come to his desired sollution.
My employer only cares to see the research-report to become reality and make money off of that.
The moment he feels that my "idea's" are considered his without a fair reward for giving him some nice income, I'd quit.
So this is the freedom you want to spread?
"Shut the fuck up, cause I don't agree"?
That kindof attitude just makes my stoumach turn.
You can disagree with the politics around here, I don't fully back up what the politicians do overhere either. (hence my earlier comment)
But it doesn't take away I have the right to voice my discontent with what I find over the line. You voiced your oppinion, and label or preceive Belgium as "inconsequential". Your right as a free citizen. So how do I have not the right to do the same? Ohh.. not American? fuck you.
I also highly doubt you are aware of Belgian politics other then some headline once in a while, and do not understand the motivation behind that or other laws overhere as you seem to be refering to the law overhere where you can file a warcrime lawsuit regardless of location of the events.
Then take note that this law dates from the 90s and has been reviewed.
I used to use the Drive shell extention but at a point it stopped working.
It could be they fixed the problem, I should look back into it...
I've adapted to renaming zipfiles and applying labels using filters.

When are we going to have a presidential candidate
The Belgian SP.A already did. Overhere we don't work with Presidents, but or ministers sortof function like one, so it's about the same.
In essence, they state a child growing up in relative poverty thus being unable to grow up with a PC and internet is put behind in development and wont get as much chances as a child having access to a PC and information found on the internet as a PC is considered a requirement these days for education and work.
So the SP.A proposed a project to sell computers for 40% under the normal price with a cheap formula for an internet connection which got approved and these PCs can be found starting this month in Belgium. With the PC comes a free 4-hour computer course as well so "noone has to miss out on the digital revolution":)
we've been hearing a steady stream of these announcements for years now from multiple companies.
It's to generate interest. If they announce is as "sucky" and "not worth a look", then why did [insert companyname here] code it in the first place? To aim for the suckiest [insert productname here]? And why would anyone use it, and thus having [insert companyname here] make money off of it?
I don't think it's as much "resistance" as the bacteria are actively mutating "against antibiotics" but rather where the non-resistant bacteria are all killed off and having the few bacteria which "developed" resistance by odd mutation (like a freak bacteria) create more offspring with the same mutation in their gene's.
By not killing off the non-resistant bacteria (which is done by overconsumpsion of antibiotics) the concentration of resistant bacteria will be less dense, thus easier to control.
I don't understand why people wouldn't get a job in the IT-area.
Here in Europe(Belgium) they pay big bucks for programmers, but they don't want the all round programmer who are poorly trained, they want the hard-core geek doing magic and who is most likely already working in another company as they're often "rarity".
They throw alot of money around to keep good people as they get lured by other companies too often.
2500-3000/month wouldn't be the exception.
If you've programmed as long and kept up with current trends, there might be some other aspect why you're not getting hired? (maybe the way you present yourself or the way you don't?)
What about availability?
There's been long thought of to have all public transportation run from colza oil, as it required minor to none modification to the engines.
The problem though is that growing enough colza to supply the demand is impossible.
"should be almost no artifacting introduced (sorry, the BMP files were too large to use)."
jpg isn't really losless. How can you compare images being processed and compressed?
Added to that, two different players? (I used WinDVD 6 to capture files from the DVD, and Elecard Mpeg2 player to capture from the HD stream)
There will be more detail with the HD stream, but I think his cute mouseovers don't say much accurate in that way.
The difference is that my email goes over the internet whether I use outlook or gmail, but my journal never does...And I'm not so sure I feel comfortable having my journal online
Human cells raised in petri dishes, and infected with Toxoplasma, will respond to drugs like haloperidol; the growth of the parasite stops. Haloperidol is an antipsychotic, used to treat schizophrenia.
Yeah...

Ideas don't come for free
Uhmm.. I just got an idea.. absolutely for free...
Nobody can make me pay to use my brain.
What are you? A commy? *shifty eyes*
Forbes Says Vista not People Ready
That's because only tools work with windows, right? Is it tool ready?
It's called opportunism and demand for a service.
There's no "deserve" in doing business and trying to meet a demand in order to make money off of it.
So DRM is a environment unfriendly too above human unfriendly.
Those people must be soo horrible and eat puppies for breakfast >:(

Who is "we"? You at your desk?
Or me in Belgium who dissaproves US politics and actions?
Don't believe all they say, certainly not what politicians say.

deliver nothing is leaving all of us high and dry
yeah, that's very true...
I remember really wanting to go out and buy DN4ever because of the cool teaser-video's. >:(

you mean this?
Some do, or even crave it. And there are more.

Just imagine all the hippies endulging in cat feces...
Thanks for the tip!
I'm browsing for some more information on that and will try it out!
