Maybe I'm still not completely awake, but I can't seem to see anything other than a login form. Do we need to be a registered user to use this search engine? Or is it because of its beta status?
I find it's a shame, with all the old classics remakes we've seen for the past decade or so, that they missed the chance for a remake of Space 1999 (as a movie) in 1999.
Or maybe they're waiting for a remake called "Space 2099".
Especially since people who download tunes don't stop at one tune.
Let's say 100 tunes x 4$ = 400$. That's not something you can easily push aside as being "outrageous" or "taking forever to pay back" even for low-income people (even if it takes, say, 8 months to pay it all).
Even at four times the iTunes cost (4x1$), it could cost a lot pretty quickly. And slashdotters wouldn't be so mad at the RIAA, I suppose (a fine of 400% would be a reasonable punishment, especially compared to 2000% or even 7500%).
Yeah I mean that as a joke (since a lot of people here think Apple is as evil as Google).
Any sane person using Leopard will also have Time Machine enabled, on an external hard drive, meaning a local and external backup for most people, and three backups for those also using MobileMe.
You're right, using a Mac as an example was the worst possible choice.
Actually I have a free MobileMe trial, just really didn't have the time to really try it out yet. My backups are done via Time Machine, on a Time Capsule, with monthly backups to CD-Rs (my code isn't big enough for DVD-Rs, yet).
But only in Soviet Russia.

Perhaps, but then you're limited to eight bits.
Digitize your hands and use them in your digital environment.
What... no good?
And it wants to go for a walk.
It's got electrolytes!
A quick search revealed this.

Or you could, you know... put the peach in the ground and grow more peaches!
Oh wait, computers don't grow on trees and I can't think of a car analogy...

The same thing we do every night, Pinky - try to take over the world.
I'm in the middle of nowhere, about 4 hours and 42 minutes away from the USA border.
I live here. Everyone in town has access to 5Mbit/768kbps cable speeds for about 35$CAD/month (30 GB combined up/down cap, but still).
And what are we supposed to do? Does the Massachusetts police department have a website that we can slashdot?
Well, you gave it away. So it was even more cheaper than dirt-cheap.
Some of us are looking for old and rare pieces of hardware, you never know. You may have something worth at least a few dozen $$$.
It's hosted on a PSP.
Since Australians are upside-down, they had to change the title to "Climbout 3".
Nope. All the NPCs died from nuclear radiation.
...aka Pythons on a Plane.
What do you mean, an african or an european car?
Are you talking about Captain Picard?
Or ninjas.
