    I'm pretty sure that's not an accurate value. It's probably "Coinbase has a total of millions of customers, plus or minus a couple of millions."

  11. If some parts are still made in China, however, the shipping cost will be higher because they won't be packed in the same density. They're also heavier because of their packaging, i.e. reels of SMD parts are heavier than the SMD parts alone. I'm not saying their cost will double but it also won't stay the same.

    HiDPI displays like those 27" iMacs do need those 2500x2000px images. However, a "non-retina" iPhone like an iPhone 4 won't benefit from anything bigger than 320x480px. The Verge needs to learn about true responsive design which requires srcset in their img tags.

    Most of the computers Apple sell only have built-in Intel graphics. Others have laptop-class GPUs. And they keep making their computers, even their desktop ones, thinner for absolutely no logical reason.

    Tim Cook seems too happy to push users to iPhones and iPads, the Macs appears to be merely an afterthought at this point.

    This only applies to places big enough to have an "email server admin". In a lot of small shops, there is only one IT guy doing all the work from installing ethernet cables, helping users configure their OS and programs, setting up WordPress and email accounts. He can't know everything on all subjects.

    And I have also found a limit on the number of nested blockquotes we can do on Slashdot so I had to simplify my reply and make it un-nested blockquotes otherwise it would not accept my reply with a "Your comment has too few characters per line" warning! My joke has been ruined!
