The article does state that adware would be "invited in". This doesn't really suprise me. There will be some users who will think that they are protected by default and won't be afraid to click "yes" (or in some cases click "no" or hell, just click on the ad itself).
Security is only as good as the person keeping watch. Sure, having all the bells and whistles is grand, but in the end human interaction (or lack thereof) can bring the biggest ship down.
Oh yeah.. I forgot that iPods don't work within the windows operating...
Oh wait... no... One of the reasons that the iPod is so damn popular is because it works on the windows operating system. Why in god's name would Billy get upset over a piece of hardware being used? For that matter, why would he get upset with a piece of hardware being used that his company doesn't even compete against.
This would make more sense if microsoft had a handheld gaming unit, and everyone on the redmond campus was walking around with a DS or a PSP. I can see him getting pissed in that case.
Yes, I have seen it. The only reason I said that he is more than likely the current apprentice has to do with him not being called the apprentice in ep II.
The probe didn't run out of power. The Cassini Orbiter was no longer within communications range, so it just stopped picking up information to relay to ESA.
From what I understand, Huygens continued to transmit data even after it was "over the horizen". I believe that they were still able to pick up the carrier signal after Cassini was out of relay range.
The first time I played this game was over thanksgiving week. My cousin made a point of getting me to play this game on the PS2. He did me a great favor by bringing this game to my attention.
Immediately after returning home from my trip, I ran to target and bought the game. My girlfriend was playing it within minutes and has been hooked since. Its really the greatest driving game ever made. The sense of speed is awesome, the scale of some of the wrecks is just amazing and the replay value is outstanding. Nice graphics and smooth controls made this the "must have game" of late 2004. I am happy to have played it, and I am even happier to have shared it.
Last night on the science channel (discovery science) they showed a few examples of the output from the camera on Huygens.
Because the craft has three camera's pointing in three different directions, along with its intended spinning pattern, they can provide some unique panaramic images of the titan atmosphere and surface when stitched together. I wish I could find those sample images online.
There is 1 channel that offers generic content that is available to all subscribers of their digitial service. This is the one that has stuff like NFL highlights, free cable favorites, and the $5.00 new releases.
Then they offer an on-demand channel for each additional subscription package you pick up. These On-Demand channels cost nothing. In my case I have the following:
HBO OD
Cinemax OD
Showtime OD
TMC OD
Starz OD
They also offer a special OD channel for those who subscribe to their HD service.
Recently they added an interactive trivia channel to the lineup. Its like one of those bar trivia games except you get to play it at home with your remote control. They offer prizes too!
I have 6 comcast On Demand channels and I haven't had a problem with them in over a year. Hopefully I can get an HDTV soon so I can have 7 OD channels.
Yes, it is amusing... but one of my greatest memories ever dealt with downloading a topless picture of Cindy Crawford off of a BBS. I think it took a good 15-20 minutes to download and my brother had previously installed a program that let you view the image as it came in. Oh man it was killer.
Now the earliest I remember would be playing some tape based games off of my brothers Commodore 64. I don't remember the games that well, and I know my brother hated to let me use his computer, but I think it was worth it.
Cuz in reality they stole the spoiler images from another site (which is mentioned in the AICN article).
In related movie spoiler news, I think its time that someone 'leaked' the Jessica Simspon as Daisy Duke images on slashdot. I would, except I like my bandwidth bill just the way it is.
I don't think that the earth is any smaller than it normally would be. I think that the result of the earthquake may have been normal subduction that takes place due to the increase in mass from the atlantic ridge. This is just a guess though, since all of my knowledge of plate tectonics comes from Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Nothing has been debunked as far as MAC vulnerabilities is concerned. Thats just wishful thinking. There have been holes exposed in Apple software before and there will be holes found later.
As for apache, yes it has less security holes than IIS, BUT it does have security issues, and isn't as perfect as you like to think.
except you have to remember that Macs are only virus free because they don't have the saturation that a Windows based PCs have.
Once they get a good network of vulnerable machines out there anyone who is worth their weight in "haxoring" will try to be the first to cripple every apple on the internet.

Quentin Tarintino also directed a short segment of the film as a way of "repaying" RR for scoring Kill Bill. He also wanted to get a feel for the new HD Digital Cameras that RR has been using on his last few movies.
I better see some vulcan titties.

Mars was in its closest orbit in 60,000 years when it launched, so it reached there in 7 months.
Hence the name "Mars Express".

Dooku is evil, and he is more than likely the current apprentice to sidious. Anakin takes his place after Dooku is disposed of.

Seriously? What was the article about? How in god's name can you justify having pictures like that?
He is posing like he wants to be wearing a bikini. I can hear him being told to "make love to the camera".
Here is a page with the examples of the image output.

Great game. My girlfriend plays it more than I do though. I think she spent 7 hours straight just opening up the crash courses.

I have to disagree with that.

Linux is awesome
:)
technically you can't even put music on your iPod without syncing it to your computer.
So.. yeah, what would be the point of an iPod doc?

These little bastards should have been locked in a room and forced to play ET on the 2600.
I really can't woohoo for Clarendon.
I can say "yay" though.
