wish I had mod points. Why do most people think naming their company "websomething" or "something something net" is gonna make them sound edgy? Most good sticky names derive from the silliest things. And do not tie you to anything in particular. Look at google and Yahoo, for instance.

  10. How are the taxes done in the US? on Open Source Tax Products? · · Score: 1

It seems weird to me, that you'd need to get someone to do them or buy a software to help you. But I wonder what's the big differences between doing taxes here in Brazil and in the US.

I've been doing my own (business and personal) for two years now. I always feared the time I'd have to do it myself (my parents used to do it for me :)

I found out it's the easiest thing, provided that you saved receipts for education, healthcare and employment or work done. The government provides a free (as in beer) software that helps you fill it up and you can send the file through the same application or deliver a paper or disc version on post offices.

I have to fill it up for me and my husband for all our work/home expenses and it doesn't take me half an hour.

What goes with US taxes? Too many calculations? I'm completely clueless about this...

talk about cut up episodes. I love SNL and I used to watch it on cable here in Brazil, but I had no idea, for four years or so, that they cut up almost half of the show to fit in the 1h time slot they had available. I was apalled to know I lost so many skits, when I started reading info on the episodes. Worst thing is, there are no "complete season DVDs" of SNL, as they do with other series. Miserable bastards!

May sound like a silly example for english speakers, but it was THE test for me. And that grade should be good enough, given I've never studied english, but I kept feeling sad about the .5 I didn't score and wondering WTF I did wrong. Incompetent came to my mind a few times and I still want to take it again... :-(
