This is one of the oldest complaints about GM crops, and obviously a valid one. As soon as Monsantos seeds contaminate the world's food supply, they'll own it all. Still want to keep this IP nonsense going? If you're Monsanto, I would guess so. If this continues, prepare for REAL famine and riots! I'm sorry, but any judge that allows this, is truly corrupt, if not legally, then morally. It is up to us to DEMAND labeling and them not to buy this junk. Otherwise we are in real trouble.

There is a huge infrastructure built around prohibition now. Private prisons, various police agencies, some local municipalities are making big profits fron it. Not to mention corrupt gov't officials. RICO is being used by the gov't to steal property. Furthermore, because weed needs no processing other than drying, anybody can grow their own, so I don't believe it will be the big money maker that other drugs would. For the people in power, the status quo works pretty darn well.

Also if you buy drugs. Because of prohibition, all that money is off the books. Pretty easy to hide that money. Remember, drug use doesn't support terrorism, prohibition does. Now that the Taliban no longer control Afganistan, opium production is back up to "normal", producing 75% of the world's supply. Makes me suspicious of what our real intentions are there.

PeaPod in Chicago was a disaster a few years ago. Maybe now they have the kinks worked out now. Unless they can dig tunnels for service and cargo vehicles (something else they used to have in Chicago and could have been restored if they didn't have that nasty flood), the streets should be reserved for trucks and such, and people should demand and use good public transport for personal travel within the city. Goodness knows, they pay enough taxes. Shopping is no fun when the temps are -20 outside. Also, at least most truck drivers are professionals.
