My question is.. Once you've paid for the song do you get to download that song again, as many times as you want after that for free? Or do you have to keep paying?

Actually it does hurt those that are "tech saavy". Just think how many times you have had to fix "mom and dad's computer, grandma and grandpa's computer, your sister's/brothers, aunt's/uncle's, friend of the family's ...... etc computers.. always on your day off or when you are trying to get something else done, or trying to play a game and someone cannot get to pages because they keep getting attacked by 500 popup windows..... You know the routine, you have to go fix it so they will leave you alone for a day or so until they screw something else up.

I do tech support for a living, I don't want to do it on my time off. :)

As the RIAA's "sue your customer" campaign begins to run into stiffening opposition and serious procedural obstacles it may be time to think about a "Plan B". A small levy on storage media, say a penny a megabyte, would be more lucrative than trying to extract 60 million dollars from a music obsessed, file sharing, thirteen year-old.

So that means your log of 100 blank CD's would cost you $800.00 for the "small levy of a penny per megabyte" plus the actual cost and tax so for the small price of around $8.20 to $9.00 per CD you can copy any album you want.. What a hell of a bargin.

They are mostly a technology handicaped bunch. If you were to inform someone, inform your ISP's abuse department or if you must inform the authorities contact the FBI. But remember that you are taking your freedom into your own hands. It seems like the "law enforcement" agencies are always on a witch hunt and don't care who they hurt in order to further their own agendas.
