Cisco in Singaporehttp://www.cisco.com.sg/ is already a security company. They provide private policemen , armoured transport and have control over much of Singapores electronic infrastructure. They do have their fingers in more than just producing routers.
So now you could make your zombie network produce traffic which would trigger the alarms and tie up cycles. What will they dream up next to waste the money extorted from the people.
I thought Google would move with Gmail into instant messaging but this step into VOIP which could also incorporate IM seems to be a logical step... It is probable they wish to harness the idea of one identity to which you can be contacted. Voice, Video , IM and email.
I like the idea of Bluetooth personal area networks.
They just need to improve its implementation a little. 10 meter range is fine , but the devices need to be able to interact a bit better. For example I own a jabra headset , a bluetooth enabled phone (n-gage) , a bluetooth enabled PDA ( axim x50v ) and a usb adaptor for my laptop. I use the headset with my phone , and for skype(out) with my PDA and laptop, and utilising the audio gateway for voice notes on my PDA and laptop. I use bluetooth to install(sync) programs on my PDA from my laptop. I use my phone to control winamp on my computer.( Bemused ). My laptop and PDA use bluetooth to access the GPRS modem on my phone.
I would like to see better bandwidth and implementation so all these devices can operate in harmony so I do not have to keep pairing , or initiating connections - I would like to see my devices that are paired operate simultanously.
I went for the dell axim x50v , built in 802.11 and BT left a CF and SD/MMC free for other uses. screen and video chip are just a bonus.
I have successfully called mobiles and landlines with skypeout and my jabra BT headset.
my phone now ( veritable n-gage ) only has GPRS , which is useful to connect my axim to the internet. As EDGE become more available , and phones incorporate EDGE and become cheaper I will upgrade my phone.
WM2003se is not the greatest OS , but it is acceptable.
I lost my first n-gage so I went and got another one. The only gripe i have with it is it is only GPRS and not EDGE.
as a previous poster said there is a lot of useful software that will run on the series 60 os.
its bluetooth allows me to easily use it as a GPRS modem for both my laptop and PDA.
If you intend to run down the n-gage , at least make sure you know what you are talking about and not just base your judgement on some fashion idea about sidetalking.
its 104mhz processor and 4 meg of ram plus MMC card should be much more powerful than your first ever computer.
the n-gage continually gets run down here - is this slashdot or a macdonalds drive through?
thaivisa.com had a forum ( http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?showforum= 57 )up and running very quickly which allowed people to post pictures and names of people who they could not contact and forum members in the area were able to attempt to help them. Also links to sites with data on injured or dead people set up by the government were posted as they came up. This has created a good resource for people searching for information on relatives or friends.
HSBC has a good extra security measure. Unless you are transferring to an existing account template you must request an extra qualifing code which is then sms'd to the phone number you have registered with them. To change the phone number requires you to ring up customer service and using your phone banking code to verify yourself.
the original nokia n-gage
symbian OS , bluetooth and GPRS , hardware MP3 and FM radio in stereo , and takes up to a 1gig MMC.
and * no shite camera for taking blurry pictures *
I think Xvid is a better format to watch movies on the phone, using smartmovie. I watch full movies and television episodes on my n-gage. rip, compress and resize and copy it onto my MMC card via card reader and watch it when I desire.
why do people not like sidetalking? Fashion conscious teenage girls maybe?
they say in the specs a 128meg MMC card, which was the same in the specs for the N-gage, but so far 1 gig MMC's have been found to work.
My N-gage is a legend machine, symbian OS has heaps of apps available, I use the opera minibrowser if I need to access a web page, though I will try mozilla's minimo when it come out. The only quibble I have with the phone is it does not have EDGE, but GPRS is acceptable for when I need to access the internet from places without wireless coverage or phone jacks.
Dell X3 624mhz combo
wifi
bluetooth
SD/MMC slot
combine that with and EDGE and bluetooth capable phone.
could then even make your phone calls via pocketskype, utilising your $20US all you can eat EDGE plan.
1gig MMC card (or 2 or 5gig)
you just need to be running thin clients on the pda while you access your data(EDGE or 802.1x) thats sitting on the big hard drive on your desktop at home which is connected to the internet via DSL.
maybe a video out so you can watch big screen TV/movies on the 15"flat panel display you keep in you suit/breifcase.
Bluetooth is excellent for you own little personal area network.
apart from all the other uses listed so far I use my bluetooth enabled phone to start and control winamp on my computer. bemused is the program I use to do this ( find it at sourceforge ), and if you want to be tricky with your next power point presentation you can control that too with your bluetooth enabled phone.
using a symbian IM client (agile messenger ) I also connect via bluetooth to my desktop then onwards to the outside world...
I bought my phone because it had bluetooth!
the only other recommendations with the phone now would be that it has EDGE and is running symbianOS.
yes my phone plays an Mp3 as my ringtone, it's a nokia ngage original.
I just edited out the section I wanted using audacity and loaded it on my MMC card. you could also put it on the phones internal memory with bluetooth or fileExplorer.
until some tech savvy lawyer(soliciter) explains to the judge that these files with an mp3 extention do not sound like brit?any when veiwed with a text editor. Then the RIAA is allowed to admit they have surveilence footage of you running the file through an mp3 client.
how many of the people who deride sidetalking have ever used it? or are they worried they will look like a dork? the big news is you are a dork if you care what you look like when talking into a phone! I use my N-gage both with hands free and on the side, and have found that sideways the width of the phone fits snugly into my ear which makes it very easy to hear in loud enviroments. As for hotswapping your MMC card there are successful mods to allow you to do it and I am sure more are to come, though now it has been proven that you can fit a 1 gig card in it is less likely to bother you.! gig can fit a lot of movies,games,mp3s,book and other apps.
Yes, the first rule of leadership is to take care of your people. He/She is to be the interface between you the workers and the management. An understanding of the work in progress will allow them clearly communicate to management what is going on.
I don t think the paperwork is difficult, just tedious.
If they use cliches throughout the interview, do not hire them.tell them 'at the end of the day, the sun goes down'
Who cares what it looks like when you are talking into it?( I like the way it fits into my ear when using in loud areas) use the excellent hands free earphones and mic if you care that much. it has a stereo Mp3 , FM radio , video player and at the moment will take a 1 gig MMC card,( http://www.n-gage-help.com/ftopict-541.html http://www.geocities.com/wintec_ent/) which is more than enough to store a whole heap of mp3s, games( I have ashen, splinter cell and sega rally + a load of java and emame roms ), movies
Add to that Bluetooth and GPRS, a good enough combinaton for internet access with your laptop.
my ngage may not be the smallest phone on the block, but it does the job with ease.
Am I missing something here, or is a file residing on your hard drive a collection of binary. It has to be run through an interpreting client before it approximates the so called music the RIAA refers to.(have they been listening outside windows)
(real)Musicians should be releasing their music for free online so as to encourage people to come and see them play live, and thus get paid for performing. They will have to play 5-6 gigs per week to earn a wage the same as the rest of the workers. It will weed out those who really do not want to play music, but only see it as a way to fame(??) and fortune(??)
Cisco in Singaporehttp://www.cisco.com.sg/ is already a security company. They provide private policemen , armoured transport and have control over much of Singapores electronic infrastructure. They do have their fingers in more than just producing routers.
go and see your doctor, he should be able to provide you with some beta blockers - then you will not be troubled by those pesky betas again....oh wait
So now you could make your zombie network produce traffic which would trigger the alarms and tie up cycles. What will they dream up next to waste the money extorted from the people.
when the first words it utters are forty two..... Then you will have an issue. Don't get scared now.
I thought Google would move with Gmail into instant messaging but this step into VOIP which could also incorporate IM seems to be a logical step... It is probable they wish to harness the idea of one identity to which you can be contacted. Voice, Video , IM and email.
This speil sounds remarkably familiar.
cause its just a figment of your imagination
