True, being locked in sucks. I fell to this once. My parents had AOL back 10 years ago or so. I had a screen name for so long that everyone knew who I was. I have long since moved out and continued to use my screen name for years via AIM.....well, the parents were finally smart enough to loose aol...but with that, i lost my SN and could not get it back for the life of me. Anyways, to make a long story short...they switched back to aol and I still can't get my sn back...But i'm still locked into AIM with a diff screen name now. It's not like i'm making money online or doing some crazy online stuff that I absolutely need to rely on AOL or some other company (Gmail) I will swtich when Ihave to, but yeah it will suck for a while.

We have software problems all the time..Granted, i've never worked on non military grade systems, so I have nothing to compare it with.

This guy new the field very very welland taught us industry standards etc...I have never had a CSC professor as good as this one. I to this day go by what he has taught in class. Make sure when you ask, "Which professor is better", they don't just give you the answer to this question "Which professor is easier"...because you don't want easy, you want better. I personally do not like the "easy" professors for I don't thnk I get my money's worth for school. And sadly, I do not program much at all. But from the C++ that i've learned, every other language that I sometimes fiddle with, comes very easily.

A lot of misconception about paraplegia is that you just can't use your legs. Well, my brother for example can't use his legs, his stomach muscles, can't urinate on his own, can't get an errection on his own, can't feel anything from the chest down and can't crap without a supository. His life expectancy is decreased by about 25 years. Even with all that, he has been very positive and optimistic about his life. It's only been 3 months and we are all hoping for a cure or treatment. We would be happy if he could just get his bowl control back. I believe that only time will tell, but it would be nice to see my bro walk again.

But when my brother got a completely severered spinal cord a few months ago, my attitude has changed a lot. I know their is not CURE for SCI, but progression is all i'm hoping for. As far as I know, nerves do not grow back on their own. They need some sort of catalist helping them. If they think a few hundred cells is considered a human, they are insane. Maybe if they spent more money on stopping crime they could save a few lives that way too. My bro was stabbed in the spine 2 months ago and is a t4 complete. He could have been dead, do they not care about adult life? Just the hundred cells for stem cell research. I'm prob just ranting on. But I do believe that the government needs to step in and grow some balls. Every other country that can do it, will. We will play catch up in the end.
