Actually, I will let you in a little secret, if you promise not to tell anybody (and I will tell you this reeeeeally silently): /me whispers:
Nokia sold it's logo and trademark to some electronics company a few years ago, so they continued producing Nokia branded TV sets, VCRs and Sat set tops.
    But the guts aren't Nokia.

OK, but now don't tell anyone, expecially don't do something stupid such as publishing this on slashdot, or something..

As for Commodore's demise, I believe it happened because of the choice to market the Amiga as a toy, rather than the professional personal computer it was. Think about it: the Amiga had GUI based applications while the PC was still wallowing in ugly ASCII-graphic stuff (Lotus 123 etc.). Yet, it failed to pick up in the offices because
    - it could be connected to a TV
    - keyboard integrated with CPU unit
    - not expandible

By the time AMiga 2000 came out, it was too late. Amiga was synonimous for good gaming and music authoring.

At 1000 meters this projectile will penetrate a 40 mm of RHA (rollded homogenous steel armour) and will result in serious secondary fragmentation effect behind the armour. That said, it will penetrate two walls of any modern APC at one kilometer range. The trajectory is very flat and does not rise higher than 800 mm above the line of sight when fired to 1000 meters.

Unfortunately, spammers are psychopats: their only care is for their own good, and that alone. They feel no remorse or empathy and are highly destructive towards society and/or the company they work for. Psychopats represent a danger for everybody, as they will kill without hesitation if they think they can get away with it.

The psychological profile of the spammer is exactly the same. Reading some of their statements just enforced my conclusion that they are completely deprived of conscience or empathy. They are more than happy to subvert and abuse the Internet for their profit.

I you were seen or recorded driving withing minutes of a crime, it would be useful to contact you because you might know something useful to the investigation.

Not a good argument against car IDs. In fact, it's more of a supporting point, if anything.
