    The scam is if you open your bank's web page yourself, and a script in another tab changes it to the phishing site.

    I've looked at my fair share of obscure Wikipedia articles. I've never encountered anything you could reasonably describe as pornographic.

    The charges were about porn on Wikimedia, not Wikipedia. You could very well have terrabytes of porn on Wikipedia without them showing up in a single Wikipedia article.

    Really? I use that resolution, and have no problem with it personally. And I really don't mind that the my 23" screen is actually shorter than the 19" 1280x1024 monitor I was using before - I like the additional pixel density. Too bad my graphics card doesn't handle new games at the native resolution too well.

    Sure, but if Microsoft cancels your license, you can just purchase a new copy of Windows and reinstall all your applications.

    If Valve disables your account, you have to repurchase all your Steam games.

    There are people whose accounts have been disabled because one of the games they purchased got charged back by Paypal or whatever.

    That's right, they have a problem purchasing 1 games, and lose all their games.

    Yesterday I noticed that my Steam client downloaded a 1.8MB update for Max Payne 2. There was no news about the update on Steam , but the new Steam client did offer an article from Kotaku regarding the crack being present in the Steam version. So I guess the update was to remove the hacker's logo or something.

    I bought the bundle when I already owned (well, rented from Steam) 3 of the 5 games included. I'm sure there are others who made similar decisions.

    So yeah, while it was still not fitting the crime, and while tons of horrible stuff happens in the name of religion in Saudi Arabia, it usually helps to know the full story.

    Assuming Huffingtonpost is more credible than dailymail of course.

    Considering how everyone's being saying that quantum computers could solve np-complete problems like integer factorizations without the exponential time requirement, I'm guessing a quantum computer may have the ability to act as an infinite-core "standard" computer.
