Yes, folks, they are really real time - those numbers are still changing.
I looked everywhere for that perfect bag. The thing I didn't like about the targus and other major brands was that they just looked too nerdy (no offense). I'm in college and need to attract the ladies, not turn them off with some suitcase lookin thing.
I searched everywhere, including another ask slashdot that was the same question. FInally I foudn the perfect bag in zumiez at the mall. It's made by Savier (dont bother google-ing it, their site has never worked). It's rugged, versatile, and even has the neopreen suspended notebook sleeve. It is well padded, and has not given me ANY trouble and all. It even has some really convenient drink holders and cd holder with a little headphone out hole.
The one I got cost me like $45, although they have more expensive ones with built in speakers and such (nerdy). The only place I could find them on the web are at zumiez online store - but I would suggest going to your local mall and taking a look for yourself.

The one I got is not there, but it's somethinglike the team insulator bag. Another thing, nobody has ever heard of savier, so you wont be automatically tageted my theives like you will with a targus. Seriosuly, best backpack ever.
Don't be so quick to judge the auto-accelerate stories as false.
I used to have a chrysler that would, no joke, accelerate by itself. I know I wasn't accidentaly hitting the gas because I would be fighting the acceleration with the brakes, which by the way, was not all too difficult, just a little scary.
I went to the site (www.hriders.com) that is offering the "100 gig" email accounts. Unless they're working in a base one-hundred system I'm pretty sure they're only giving away ten gig accounts. That is significantly less than advertised.
p.s.
Don't bother correcting my base one-hundred joke with your "math" and "logic". a.) I don't care, and b.) you got it anyway.

the story never changes, only the numbers. Actually, the number don't even change, just the units of measurement.

It appears as though they have removed the mp3 ripping plugin from their website. I guess I'm sticking with my beta copy of winamp5.
